Any state lawmaker planning on a vacation any time soon got some bad news on Wednesday — they’re not done.
Gov. John Hickenlooper upended the Colorado political scene when he announced that he would call a special session of the Legislature to revisit the Democratic civil unions bill that died in the House on Tuesday night. The General Assembly adjourned Wednesday night, but by law, the governor can force it to reconvene and take up any issue he wants.
And that’s exactly what Hickenlooper is doing.

We have been circling the toilet bowl for a long time. So slowly at first as to be barely perceptible, and then only to those who were paying attention. But if I were a betting man, I'd say the End Times are approaching at warp speed.
Obama and his Democrat “dirt bags” are on a determined mission to destroy the USA by breaking down the American family unit. Obama has already succeeded in destroying the Black American family unit enmasse. No fathers, unwed mothers, massive abortions, drugs, unrelenting crime, breakdown of society, etc., just what Obama seeks to control these “lost people”.
Now, Obama is out to destroy both religion and the core family unit. Americans wake up!!! Everything Obama does is meant to take our country apart and destroy our society of freedom and liberty. ABO = Anybody But Obama!!!
So...allowing gay marriage is worth holding a special session? Wow...

This is an opportunity for the Republicans to turn this into a big joke. Offer silly amendments to the bill, like:
1) In only applies to homosexuals in the restaurant business, who have worked in the restaurant business for at least 1 year, and can prove it with W-2 tax forms.
2) Only those homosexuals in the restaurant business who work in homosexual-themed restaurants.
3) Homosexuals must present proof of homosexuality, such as a note from their doctor that they are indeed homosexual. With a 2-week waiting period, in case they change their minds about wanting to be in a homosexual marriage.
4) Only homosexuals who are registered as Democrats may get married. Republican, independent, and other political party registered homosexuals cannot get married.
5) Homosexuals must be at least 40 years old to get married, have no felony convictions or less than honorable discharge from the military, nor can they have any outstanding warrants for their arrest or be on the TSA “no fly” list.
6) Marriages can only take place at the legal residence of the governor of the state of Colorado.
My goal is to be room temperature when that happens. I've read about the trials and tribulations - I'd really rather not be around for the final "fun and games".
