I guess double jeopardy is now a big part of Holder’s Injustice Dept.
This doesn’t qualify as double jeopardy for two reasons. It is a different charge that what is he is on trial for in Florida AND Florida is a separate sovereignty from the Federal government, thus he can be tried twice.
It sucks - but it is the way the law works. To see a real example of this, remember the cops that beat up Rodney King - they were tried by CA and found not guilty, then Federal hate crime charges were used to get a conviction.
It's a tradition. They did it to the LAPD officers in the Rodney King case in 1992. And that was under Bush I.
The double jeopardy issue was resolved during the Rodney King litigation.
Of course. If they can’t convict him of one charge, they will come back at a later date and charge him with something else.

Not double jeopardy two different charges from two different authorities that being said it is an attempt to grind him & his defense team down.
