Maybe I am too old, but I can remember 40 years ago where finding out someone was gay was a jaw dropper, and those crazy enough to admit it were treated like pariahs. Man things have changed.

I never dreamed 40 years later we would have a dog eating gay president.

Forty-some years ago, I was street savvy teenager. One day a guy asked me for a light, and when I held out my lighter, he took my hand in a most inappropriate way.

It took me a couple of seconds, but it quickly dawned on me that this guy was coming on to me. Let me tell you, it was the shock of my life. All I remember is yanking my hand back, and finding myself about a hundred yards away from him. I was so traumatized by what had just happened, I didn't even know how I got where I was.

I was fifteen, and had never even heard of homosexuality. Today, my seven year old knows what it is, and Mommy and I have never once had a conversation about it with him. Frikken screwed up culture...
