Genealogical society: No proof of Warren’s Cherokee heritage found
boston herald ^ | May 15, 2012 | Hillary Chabot

The New England Historical Genealogical Society, which originally announced they found evidence of Elizabeth Warren’s Native American heritage, said today they have discovered no documentation to back up claims that she is 1/32 Cherokee.

“NEHGS has not expressed a position on whether Mrs. Warren has Native American ancestry, nor do we possess any primary sources to prove that she is,” said Tom Champoux, spokesman for the NEHGS. “We have no proof that Elizabeth Warren’s great great great grandmother O.C. Sarah Smith either is or is not of Cherokee descent.”

My mother had a first cousin who was married to a full-blooded Arapaho Indian. My grandfather's sister's husband was the step-son of a former Indian scout. I have some fourth or fifth cousins who appear on the Cherokee rolls.

My claim to minority status is at least as good as Elizabeth Warren's.

I sure she shares a common ancestor with the Cherokees somewhere in her family tree.

Its probably a Lemur, though.

But what about her grandmother’s cheekbones?

Which cheeks?

What a silly academic she is. Our children are 1/32 Cherokee but in order to even qualifiy for an Indian heritage scholarship, one must be at least about 40% Indian and be able to prove it. But in the academic world, where research is king, high cheekbones and your word is the only thing that counts. And Harvard and the U of Penn-shame on you for your acceptance of this.

DUmmie FUnnies 05-10-12 ("Cherokee Checkbox": The Faux Squaw, the Democrats' Warren Woman)

CHEROKEE CHECKBOX
Tune: Indian Reservation (The Lament of the Cherokee Reservation Indian)

She took some small Cherokee ration
Put this on her information
"Native A," although it's slight
She checked the box even though she's white

Took a while till it was known
That Liz is Anglo to the bone
And all the claims she made before
Aren't Lizzie Warren's anymore

Cherokee Checkbox, Cherokee Pride
So proud you hold your cheekbones high

She took the whole Indian fable
Used it for her PC label
Though she's blond with eyes of blue
She's still a redskin through and through

Cherokee Checkbox, Cherokee Pride
So proud you hold your cheekbones high

But maybe someday when she's beat
Cherokee Checkbox will retreat
Will retreat
Will retreat
Will retreat
Will retreat

George Zimmerman is a Cracker-tortilla.

Elizabeth Warren is a minority in waiting.

Balance of population shifts in 2050 according to census predictions and then crackers will get all the preferences.
Whitey has tricked our brown brothers again!

I love it when a plan comes together perfectly. Ah ha ha ha ha.

Did I say Cherokee?

Sorry, I meant Souix. Or was it Ojibwe? or perhaps Tonawanda?

I raise Arapaho blackberries. Also I raise Chickasaws, Kiowas, Navahoes, and Triple Crown Blackberies. They are getting ripe now. Very tasty. But, I do not raise Cherokee blackberries.....I do not think such a cultivar exists. Can I still get in Harvard with those credentials?

But Jamie Dimon and the Banker Boys have scroooooood up again, which will have her front-and-center saying “I toldya so!” and reveling in her glory as Poster Child for the public flogging of bankers.

Say hello to America’s First Fake White Indian Senator.

Fauxcahontas in heap big trouble.

Nah. "Knowingly and willfully" is her out. She can claim she really, really thought she was Injun, roll some tears down her high cheeks, and that will be that. If she was a Republican, ignorance would be no excuse, but she's a liberal Democrat, so she's okay.

Yeah she lied. However, this is no lie: As a kid, I played cowboys and Indians. I was an Injun about half the time. That makes me eligible to teach at Haaaavard! Wooo Hooo

I’m 1/16th Cherokee (big damn deal) and I couldn’t look more white bread & blond. My cousins, OTOH have jet black hair and high cheekbones, the blood line is pretty obvious in them.

All of which is meaningless except as being of interest in our family circles. It’s none of the government’s business. It certainly doesn’t entitle any of us to anything we haven’t earned.

But regardless of our genealogical history, we are damn sure entitled to what we do earn. How’s that for a novel concept in Orwellian Amerika?
