WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama hold assets worth between nearly $2.6 million and nearly $8.3 million, according to financial disclosure reports released Tuesday by the White House.
The documents show the couple's assets for last year. The first family's assets were valued between $1.8 million and nearly $12 million in 2010.

I’m kinda surprised this hasn’t been correctly analyzed...the MSM released it, so it has to favor Obama.

Simple. The libs want their guy to be wealthier than the rest, but not too much so. Morgan Stanley? Obama’s a victim.
Obama and MSM want his “paltry” $8M to stand next to the uber-rich Romney’s $250M.
It’s up to Romney at this point to rally America to want to be successful as Obama has destroyed the “America’s greatness” theme:

Okay, a million times better than Zero but let's not get carried away. I'd have been more impressed if he'd tossed "luck" into that list - as any successful person should.
Oh and one more thing, I not sure what you have heard but what I have heard is that Romney gave his daddy money to charity, yes he had a leg up, but that is life, he worked hard and made his own money. So your ...and my dad, needs a little tweeking and research. Just sayin... FRiend.
I hear what you’re saying and I think we’d agree that he’s a decent, hard-working guy. It’s just that if his daddy wasn’t who he was, he would have had to have been a decent, hard-working, *incredibly lucky* guy to get where he is.
I don’t begrudge him being in the lucky sperm club and I think/hope that off-mike he’d admit to being a charter member.
C.f. Obama who seems to think that he got his breaks though merit alone.
