SANFORD, Fla. —
WFTV has confirmed that autopsy results show 17-year-old Trayvon Martin had injuries to his knuckles when he died.
The information could support George Zimmerman's claim that Martin beat him up before Zimmerman shot and killed him.
The autopsy results come as Zimmerman's attorney, Mark O’Mara continues to go over other evidence in the case.
O’Mara wouldn't comment on the autopsy evidence, but WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer said it's better for the defense than it is for the prosecution.
WFTV has learned that the medical examiner found two injuries on Martin’s body: The fatal gunshot wound and broken skin on his knuckles.
When you compare Trayvon’s non-fatal injury with Zimmerman's bloody head wounds, the autopsy evidence is better for the defense, Sheaffer said.
“It goes along with Zimmerman's story that he acted in self-defense, because he was getting beaten up by Trayvon Martin,” Sheaffer said.
The injury to Martin’s knuckle also fits with Zimmerman's story that before he shot and killed Martin, Martin had broken his nose and knocked him to the ground, slamming his head on the sidewalk.

Obviously GZ was headbutting Trayvons hands.
And per medical report, Zimmerman had a broken nose, swollen face, and black eyes.
Zimmerman pounded Trayvon’s knuckles with his nose.
The racist interpretation is to suggest that Martin was beating George up. The correct interpretation is to say that George was the aggressor - he used his nose to repeatedly strike and injure Martin’s delicate and easily-bruised knuckles.
This is critical.
ABC is also reporting that Zimmerman was treated by doctor for broken nose, two black eyes, lacerations to back of head, injuries to upper lip and cheek, etc.
It’s all over.

I have seen fewer and fewer articles about this as more information comes out - it all started falling apart when the police video showed the injuries to Zimmerman’s head (despite the best efforts of the media to obscure the footage).
The story was destined to go away when Zimmerman’s court appearance was televised and America saw he really wasn’t very white.
Dragging one’s knuckles down that long concrete sidewalk would cause knuckl;e damage. Such damage would be especially apparent if the lil’ “knuckle dragger” had gotten up that morning and pared his knuckles.
Without his usual callosities, the sidewalk could have done the damage.

Not a chance. Almost white Zimmerman had the audacity to shoot one of Obama’s peeps just because he was getting his head beat in. The race huslers are on the scene at full bay. Holder’s Dept. of Racist Justice is even now preparing a civil rights violation case against Zimmerman. The FBI is preparing hate crime charges. Crumb is readying the massive civil suit. Zimmerman has to pay and pay big. You think Obama’s peeps care about anything as silly as evidence?

However, that will STILL be the attitude of many people, and probably the prosecutor. Heck, even on FR I read posts where Zimmerman shouldn’t have shot the punk as he was unarmed.
Dream on. If the State of Florida doesn't railroad Zimmerman, Eric Holder's goons will prosecute him on civil rights charges.
I was reading last night how Zimmerman's dad is on the lam. Really? Since when do family members become "legitimate" targets of the lynch mob?
How is it that for the first time in my life I actually am afraid of a race war in this country? Hope and change my ass.
Oh well, still a hate crime. Zimmerman was thinking racist thoughts while Martin was beating him to a pulp. If Zimmerman wasn’t a racist, he would have taken his beating like a man. He would have known that he was deserving and refrained from fighting back. He certainly wouldn’t have shot one of Holder’s people who looked as Obama’s son would look if he existed.

This case could end up discrediting the entire justice system of the United States if Mr. Zimmerman's defense is competent. It will make a fools those who prosecute it.
Of course, a very sizable percentage of our population are fools themselves, and therefore represent a rich vein of votes.
All because some politicians are afraid of violence.
