US election: 'When Your Name Is Barack Hussein Obama, Getting Elected Is Difficult' Prejudice among some American voters will make it difficult for President Barack Obama to win re-election, he has suggested.

Asked during a television interview how close he expected the result of November's presidential election to be, Mr Obama said: "When your name is Barack Obama, it's always tight". After a host noted that his full name was "Barack Hussein Obama," he repeated this twice, stressing the middle name that has led conspiracy theorists to claim erroneously that he is secretly Muslim.
The remarks, made on ABC's The View, appeared to be a rare admission by Mr Obama that four years after he became the first black US president, his ethnicity continues to repel some American voters.
Asked "why do you say that now, after four years?" Mr Obama appeared to gather his thoughts and said: "I think it's going to be tight because the fact of the matter is, the country has gone through a very difficult time – the worst financial crisis, the worst economic crisis, since the 1930s."

That is kind of a weird claim, after you have already been elected President, and are saying it from the Oval Office.

He got elected last time BECAUSE he was black.

The Twenty Sixth Amendment allowed all citizens over the age of 18 who are not otherwise disqualified the right to vote.
Not to mention Motor Voter, to round up any imbeciles who couldn’t find the Registrars office but could find the DMV, and of course the latest push by the marxists to enfranchise felons and illegals.
The moral of the story being that we are doomed to collapse unless the Franchise is limited.

What a jerk. While it’s true that the press tried to hide the “Hussein” part of it, most Americans were so well-schooled in Bush-and-America hatred that they probably thought the foreign, Muslim name was a good thing rather than a warning sign. I bet he got votes because of his name, rather than losing them.
That’s not going to work this time around because the novelty has worn off. However, since Romney’s positions are little different from Obama’s, most people will probably vote for the loser they know.

which I thought was interesting since John MCCain refused to use Obamas midddle name duirng the 2008 campaign as it was off limits.
Make that single white women (divorced, separated, single or widowed) who according to Gallup in 2008 voted “OVERWHELMING” for Obama and gave him the election even against a weak McCain.

I was under the impression that Obummer couldn’t get elected with a name like Barry Soetoro or Barry Obama, so changed it. If his name was Dick Smith, he’s still be a p*ss poor president.

The term she used throughout the Speech was “Poor George”, making fun of his Family's Wealth and implying he was born with a Silver Spoon in his mouth.

I don't give a crap what Wright SAYS he did regarding Obama. Both are communists. They don't truly believe in religion, ANY religion. They just use religion (phony, concocted religions) as a means of advancing their communist ideology. That's what Black Liberation Theology is all about. Communists need to lie through their teeth in order to get people to listen to them. They can never be honest about who and what they are, and what they want to do to this country.
