Think of the jobs, the lower cost of living, the national security.......our energy policy is irrational.
We only need to look at N. Dakota to see what the energy industry can do for the economy. 3% unemployment, a building boom , lower gasoline costs. All this happening during the 0bama depression and you hear very little about in the MSM.
BTW isn't Alberta going through a boom due to oil sands? It stands to reason we should have similar potential on this side of the border. You're right, our energy [non-]policy is irrational, and the left in this country is a sick joke.
