The Yuma Police Department confirms two people who were shot Friday night have died.
It happened at 10:20 p.m. on the 2600 block of Donna Avenue.
According to YPD Jason Snelling, 27, and Glenn Curry, 26, were shot and killed after a confrontation with another man.
YPD has now released the identity of the shooter as Daniel Dillman, 23.
The initial information suggests that Dillman's life had been threatened by Snelling and Curry immediately before the shooting. Curry was armed with a knife which had been utilized to break out windows on the vehicle that Dillman was seated in at the time of the shooting.
There was a series of road rage events that started near Giss Parkway and Pacific Ave. According to police, Dillman's conduct appears to be justifiable as an act of self defense. Dillman has been released from police custody.
Once the investigation is complete it will be submitted to the Yuma County Attorney's Office for review of possible charges.
I'm waiting for pics of Snelling and Curry from when they were 12 years old to be plastered around the media, and for Sharpton to pronounce the shooting to be an "outrage".
Once again, the race is only used on the shooter, the instigators who broke out his windows of his car with a knife...where they white? Black? Green? Orange?

Interesting...the police press release included the race of all three and reads almost verbatim to the ‘reporters’ version. And they were all white.
The preliminary investigation revealed that Daniel Dillman, a 23 year old white male, shot and killed Jason Snelling, a 27 year old white male and Glenn Curry, a 26 year old white male following a confrontation between the three men.
Likely not black. My wife lived in that neighborhood when we met. It’s a low middle class white/hispanic mix of homes that were built in the early 1960’s. But it’s filthy for crime and trouble.
