Romney appears to be a much better candidate than McCain - at least so far. This is what I've thought all along. McCain was so incredibly inept as a candidate--worse than Dole, if that's possible. When Romney is on his game, he can be very effective politically.

He basically endorsed the guy weeks before the election!!
