Very soon, San Diego's LGBT community will see a colorful symbol of their pride flying high above the Hillcrest neighborhood.
Today, the City Council voted 7-0 to approve a proposal by the Hillcrest Business Association (HBA) to install a 65-foot flagpole in the median on Normal Street where it intersects with University Avenue.
Nicholas Moade, owner of Rich's and a donor to the flag project, urged the City Council to pass Item 333. "This flag symbolized tolerance and diversity," Moade said. "As long as LGBT youth are being bullied ... it is important to fly this flag as a beacon of hope."
After the council voted, applause erupted in the room. Many community members left excited about the installation of the project, which is expected to be in place in time for the annual San Diego LGBT Pride celebration, taking place July 20-22.

Their flag should be brown.
And we can stop this how? Display rainbows anywhere and folks assume that you are a homo.
Notice the chain - a chain of bondage/evil and it’s circle that has no end out of it. The chain has to be broken for those caught up in sexual perversion.
Obama’s re-election flag.
Obama’s new motto, “hi thailor...”
I don't know how, but it should be done.
I refuse to concede anything to homosexuals....well, except for the colors pink and lavender.
Here you go;
One: Teach our children the truth, and make sure they attend Bible school at Church.
Two: Either homeschool or private school.
Or, a third option is to make sure to do both the above.
Bumper stickers of the Rainbow with the words, “God’s Creation” should do the trick.
We have the very same thing in Chico, CA. What is now known as Cal State U, Chico, was at first a Normal School. It was located on, among other streets, Normal Avenue.
“Bumper stickers of the Rainbow with the words, Gods Creation should do the trick.”
Best Idea of the Day!!!!!!!
Yep
The gay flag is a flag of foreign domination, and it does not deserve to fly in the United States of America. It is the same as flying the Mexican flag or the hammer-and-sickle.
We can of course homeschool to avoid our kids being exposed to the homosexual agenda, but if we can’t homecollege, and they go to some university that does not ban gays, lesbians and gay pride flag from campus?
In the end, they might get a job at a company that actually employs gays and lesbians, some of which may have the gay flag in their cubicle or pinned to their uniform.
I like it!
I said there were no gays back then.
He ranted at me for a while saying that there were gays back 2000 years ago, then I explained.
Back in the 50's they were called homosexuals, and gay meant happy, rejoicing (such as you stated.)
He got even madder and a young poofter looking kid (early 20’s I imagine) got real upset with me.
I guess they don't seem to understand that they are homosexuals, and wish to co-op the word gay.
Which they have.
I never use the word to describe their perverted, sick, demented life (death?) style.
Like the rainbow, it doesn't yell HOMO to me. It's a covenant made by God.
A little later, I was sitting with my feet propped up across an aisle.
The young poofter wanted to get by, and walked fast towards where I was blocking the aisle.
I told him slow down, I would move.
He said he would get a baseball bat and smash my legs.
Quite an angry young man.
I found out later he got fired from the office he worked at for inappropriate (sick and demented) communication with a young heterosexual woman who worked there.
With all the events out there called “pride” events, you would think a homosexual would be proud to be described as a homosexual.
But, no they want to co-opt a word that means the opposite of what their lives really reflect.
I guess they won’t miss the $$ they would’ve made had they not decided to do this. They must forgot that the gay marriage ban passed twice by ore than 60%?
If those of us who follow God, and this Nation’s constitutional foundings, have not innoculated our children against the perversion of the left by the time they enter college, then we have failed.
