No, i was not overcompensated. The worst customer is the guy who doesn't pay for the product ~ there are millions of them in this country. They all think they can use the Postal Service as a cheap psychiatric service.

We never DID recover from that.

We put lots more money of our own into our retirement system, too. I worked for the Navy Department, and they tend to have a MUCH lower pay scale that anything else in gov't I've seen.
