I liked when Captain America said about god Loki theres only one true God, and he doesnt dress like that!
One of my fav lines. Was the only grannie in the theater but Grandson wanted to take me as a “special treat for Mother’s Day”. I prefer much quieter movies but it is one of the few, IMO, that is suitable for kids yet adults will enjoy. Several times during the movie people clapped and cheered loudly when the good guys were winning, crowd reaction was indeed interesting.

"If I pay to see a movie it is because I want to be entertained." Oh, you'll DEFINITELY be entertained. It's really a good movie. My favorite line was when the good agent told Loki, "You're not going to win - cuz you have no conviction!"

In the words of Faramir, "I think Frodo we finally understand each other"
Sorry FRiend, I don't vote for evil, even if the pretend Republican Romney has an 'R' next to his name and even if Obama is a crypto-Communist.
"If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures." - Alexander Hamilton

I liked the whole movie...full of great lines. My favorite was Hulk’s “Puny god”...and what happened to Loki right before that. I laughed myself silly.

Best part was when Loki says “I am a god” and Hulk grabs him by the neck and whales the s#it out of him. I laughed for a good 15-20 seconds.

My family thinks Im nuts. Maybe I spend too much time on FR? Maybe they are right...sometime movies are just intended to entertain. I was entertained...didn't really see any underlying message other than good triumphs over evil.

Avengers was a fun superhero movie. The last half-hour was a pure fireworks show. I really don’t think there was much message there except:
“A fat lot of good that invisible flying aircraft carrier that our tax dollars paid for is doing for us!”
