The car that fired the shots was "dark colored"? That's a RAAACISSSST statement!
I live a few miles from where this happened. Raytown is basically a suburb of KC.
2 things at play here:
1. The KC, MO school district lost its accreditation. So People with children & teens are seeking alternatives in nearby suburbs.
2. Foreclosures in the neighborhoods that are undesirable (inner ring suburbs) are being picked up as Section 8 housing by investors, the people moving in are coming from the hard core inner city slums.
This is triggering a massive demographic shift in the area as the inner city is filtering out into the previously more peaceful suburbs with the obvious results.
