Marco Rubio breathes life into limited DREAM Act [Democrats welcome compromise proposal]
Sun Sentinel (FL) ^ | May 15, 2012 | William E. Gibson

WASHINGTON — U.S. Senator Marco Rubio's attempt to provide limited legal status to many of the children who entered this country illegally is finding a warm welcome from a surprising source: Senate Democrats.

The Florida Republican, who is huddling with Senate leaders from both parties this week, is emerging as a prominent player in the contentious debate over immigration. His search for an acceptable compromise on the long-sought DREAM Act has drawn tentative support across the party divide, raising the chances for passage in this election year.
.
.
"We've talked with them about policies that would help these kids but still be responsive to conservative principles," said Rubio spokesman Alex Conant. "The feedback we've gotten from them has been positive as well.

"There are a lot of people of good will on both sides who are willing to set politics aside and do something that would help these kids. We're cautiously optimistic we can get something done this year."

The DREAM Act "was dead in the water" until Rubio started working on his version of it, Conant noted.

I guess Rubio clued in Romney---if he gets picked he'll generate all those illegal votes in Fla. Read on.

REFERENCE Fla investigation reveals 180,000 non-citizens may be registered to vote
Right Side News | 1/14/2012 | Dan Spencer / FR Posted by IbJensen

Florida officials have discovered that 180,000 registered voters may be non-citizens. A CBS4/Miami Herald analysis of information supplied by Miami-Dade shows a large number of the potential non-citizens voters cast ballots in the past — including the 2000 election, when the presidency was decided by just over 500 votes.

According to Deputy Supervisor of Elections Christina White, there are a “lot of non-citizens on our registration rolls.” Florida’s Division of Elections is checking the citizenship of voters by comparing drivers license records, which show whether a licensed driver is also a U.S. citizen.

Non-citizens are able to become registered voters in Florida because if a non- citizen checks the box on the voter registration form that says they are a citizen they are registered to vote, because the form is signed under oath.

Those registered who are identified as possible non-citizens are reported to the State Attorney’s office. The States Attorney may charge anyone who unlawfully registered to vote with a felony.

According to the Heritage Foundation’s Hans Von Spakovsky, Florida’s investigation is only looking at legal immigrants, not illegal aliens, who may have registered to vote even though they are not citizens. Von Spakovsky, a former member of the Federal Elections Commission, says that Florida is doing the right thing with this investigation, but is only scratching the surface.

Florida can’t check for illegal aliens who registered to vote because the Federal government is not giving Florida access to Immigration and Naturalization Service records which would help identify illegals who have registered to vote.

You can watch Bill Hemmer and Hans Von Spakovsky discuss Florida’s investigation of non-citizens illegally voting in the accompanying video here (link at web site).

========================================

Nearly four years after CNN reported on the scandalous ACORN voter fraud, and those fraudulent voter registrations were converted into fraudulent votes, we are still struggling to prevent voter fraud. Instead of working to prevent voter fraud, the Obama regime goes so far as to sue some states that require voters to show a photo ID in order to vote.

Fresh-faced "innocent" Rubio (VP wannabe) supports THE DREAM ACT which would legislate putting Raza Studies in every US school.

RUBIO SUPPORTS THIS Raza studies is a virulent anti-America agenda, a bloodthirsty dream by illegals to kill off US citizens:

RUBIO SUPPORTS THIS One Raza Studies textbook titled “Occupied America,” by Rodolfo Acuña, includes a violent and blood- curdling speech given by university professor Jose Angel Gutierrez: “We have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is if the worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him,” (pg. 323).

RUBIO SUPPORTS THIS Taken directly from Occupied America (pg. 167): “Supporters would execute all white males over age 16,” (this is AKA the Plan of San Diego).

RUBIO SUPPORTS THIS America-hating Raza Studies teach violence and undermining US ntl security----and preaches the need for Mexico to "re-take seven states in the Southwest...in order to make the SW a Chicano nation.

Course, if YOU oppose this, you are "heartless"....../s.

===================================================

Adelita Grijalva is the woman on the Arizona school board pimping La Raza/LULAC/Mecha/MALDEF indoctrination programs in Tuscon schools.

Adelita is all up in arms about Raza Studies getting tossed via the AZ state legislature's action...she is the daughter of Raul Grijalva (D-AZ-7) who was just narrowly re-elected to our US Congress.

Raul Grijalva is one of Mexico’s most productive and loyal representatives in our Congress....aiding and abetting building a Third World on US soil.

THIS JUST IN---53,000 Dead Voters Found in Florida / by J. Christian Adams / pjmedia.com.

...... Florida election officials are set to announce that the secretary of state has discovered and purged up to 53,000 dead voters from the voter rolls in Florida. How could 53,000 dead voters have sat on the polls for so long? Simple. Because Florida hadn’t been using the best available data revealing which voters have died.

Florida is now using the nationwide Social Security Death Index for determining which voters should be purged because they have died.

Here is the bad news. Most states aren’t using the same database that Florida is. In fact, I have heard reports that some election officials won’t even remove voters even when they are presented with a death certificate. That means that voter rolls across the nation still are filled with dead voters, even if Florida is leading the way in detecting aBut surely people aren’t voting in the names of dead voters, the voter fraud deniers argue. Wrong.

Consider the case of Lafayette Keaton. Keaton not only voted for a dead person in Oregon, he voted for his dead son. Making Keaton’s fraud easier was Oregon’s vote by mail scheme, which has opened up gaping holes in the integrity of elections.

The incident in Oregon just scratches the surface of the problem. Massachusetts and Mississippi are but two other examples of the dead rising on election day.Florida should be applauded for taking the problem seriously, even if Eric Holder’s Justice Department and many state election officials don’t.

LINK AT WEB SITEL July 2010, Lawlessness at the DOJ: Voting Section Told Not To Enforce Purging the Dead or Ineligible from Voting Rolls

================================================

BLOGGER The group “Truth the Vote” and TEA Party activists should get on this, and hammer on it as loudly as possible..... eliminating the possibility of vote fraud puts the Dems in a worse position.

We know we need to get enough votes to overcome the Ohaha team's plans by attacking the problem from multiple angles to get a clean and untainted victory and cripple the Democrat led effort to steal the elections:

purging voter lists of the dead,

insisting on voter ID,

placing multiple layers of scrutineers around polling stations

After the election, pressure the newly elected House, Senate and State legislatures to take firm action to clean up the system:

reduce the loopholes that allow voter fraud,

pass voter ID laws,

eliminating “motor voter” laws,

eliminating gerrymandered districts.

Me thinks Fidel Rubio.

There was zero legitimate reason to revive the nightmare act, other than Rubio raising his personal status with the destroyers.

Rubio is about as much a statesman as Joe Biden.
