No. The RINOs have to go and that is more important. Willard = White Hussein. So I don't care if Hussein is the president as long as good candidates win the House and Senate seats. It is more important to save the GOP. Handing it back to the RINOs will make things worse.
The GOP already has the House, so if they keep it, what makes you think they’ll get rid of Boner as Speaker?
Uh oh, that sort of thinking is a little too deep for some FReepers. Be prepared for a bunch of Romney flacks to come on this thread with their "Aha! So you admit you support Obama! go back to Democratic Underground!!!!" line.
Nevertheless, thinking conservatives need to consider whether there may actually be something to the nothing that a Republican Congress with Obama as President may not be better than a Republican Congress with Romney as President. The GOPers will fight Obama. They won't fight Romney. With Romney as President, expect them to go along with every new spending plan, every new expansion of government. And I will bet you dollars to donuts that Romney will NOT do away with the Czars and other obamaist overreaches if he's elected. And further, when he doesn't, many "conservatives" here on FR will find excuses for why we really do need those Czars.
Ultimately, at the Presidential level, this election is a wash. It's securing CONSERVATIVES in CONGRESS that we need to focus on.
That bet is a bit rich for my blood. At this point, you can’t count on the Senate turning Republican. On the other hand, I’m more confident than ever that Romney will run a campaign totally unlike McCain.
If Obama remains in the Presidency, it won’t matter if we win the Senate. We will die of a 1000 cuts administered by Executive Orders issued every week.
