Assuming his mother was still a US citizen, I do not think it would matter too much - UNLESS - Barack H. Obama was using a Kenyan birth to get into a prestigious university and rec’d foreign student privileges.

His mother was not old enough at the time of Barry’s birth to convey citizenship on him.

Ha!! If “O” WAS born in the US (which I personally doubt) and got foreign aid for his college, isn't that fraudulent?

This is typical of so many people in the Affirmative Action era -- use your "minority" status when it pays, discard it when it doesn't.

This constitutes fraud. However, the statute of limitations ran out years ago on all of these frauds except his certifications for the last election. That one is still in the five year window. This is why they won’t release his college transcripts. He gamed the system at every turn and it is doubtful that he would have been accepted on his own merits at any of the schools that he attended.

Like Bubba, he will never be able to practice as an attorney again because of this. I doubt he cares.

Unlike if, say, Joe Biden (both of whose parents were U.S. citizens) had been born in Kenya, Barack Obama would not have been a U.S. citizen at birth had he been born in Kenya (assuming that his father was Barack Obama, Sr.). Back in 1961 (and until the federal law was amended in 1986), a person born abroad with one U.S. citizen parent and one alien parent would be a U.S. citizen at birth if the U.S. citizen parent had, as of the date of such birth, resided in the U.S. for at least 10 years during his or her life, with at least 5 of those years of residency having come after turning 14. Well, guess what? Obama’s mother (and only U.S. citizen parent), Stanley Ann Dunham, was only 18 years old when Obama was born, so it would be mathematically impossible for her to have resided in the U.S. for 5 years after having turned 14. So if Obama was born in Kenya, or anywhere else outside of U.S. territory, he would not have been a U.S. citizen at birth. This would mean that (i) unless he became a naturalized U.S. citizen at some point in his life (of which there is no evidence), he would not be a U.S. citizen today, and thus illegally served in the U.S. Senate and broke countless other laws, and (ii) even if he later became a naturalized U.S. citizen, the fact that he wouldn’t be a U.S. citizen at birth would mean that he isn’t a natural-born citizen of the U.S. and thus would not be eligible to serve as president.

So, yes, it would be a huge deal if Obama actually had been born in Kenya.

Fraud through and through. I remember reading newspaper articles saying he was born in Kenya when he was running for Senate. Also remember how he got opponent Ryans’s sealed divorce records open so he could knock him out. I think the only opponent he actually had was McCain and POW aside he wasn’t much of an opponent. Obviously, his VP was a whole different story and I look forward to her restoring our Republic. Now about this impeachment and deportation.

I believe Muslims didn't recognize HER citizenship at the time...and the kid was whatever his father was. I believe that daddy signed the kid over to mommy....hook , line and sinker....but that doesn't change his status at birth.

Of course there's still the problem....Who's your daddy??

"Assuming his mother was still a US citizen, I do not think it would matter too much..."

I was under the impression that both parents had to be U.S. citizens for their foreign born offspring to automatically be U.S. citizens.
