These guys don’t believe in weapons of any kind. A few years ago the Guardian Angels came to Dallas. Russ Martin, a then popular local talk radio guy just couldn’t get over the fact that the Angels do not let their members arm themselves, and instead proudly proclaim that they only carry radios. Russ’s exact words, “Don’t they know that this is Texas? There are going to be walkie-talkies for sale in every pawn shop in Dallas.”
