I’m led to understand that Toot was a no-nonsense gal, who in her sunset days would not so blithely have countenanced a wholesale Barry denial-of-himself (and -her) among his anti-capitalist beginnings with their Marxist and anarchist/terrorist friends.
Of course her untimely death a few days before the election—apparently hanging on for several days before Barry would eventually come to visit her—before she could be interviewed on such subjects. OTOH, was she truly never interviewed in the 90’s as Barack began his meteoric rise? Has no budding Pulitzer winner in the MSM not dug up such interviews, perhaps among those others wearing (figurative?) cement galoshes at the bottom of the Chicago River.
Then again, death is rarely blithe.

‘It is clear to me that a vigorous debate on the issues most likely could not take place if I remain in the race’. This sounds like a political pigeon hole that Obama and his enablers foster. I hope this is not a game that is being played on Akin.
