Reno ABC-affiliate KOLO has apologized after a promo on Monday evening’s newscast implied that gay marriage is a “sin.”
“Historically, Nevada has made a living off of sin — quickie divorces, prostitution, gambling,” anchor Sarah Johns said as footage of same-sex weddings aired (video above). “What’s one more sin added to the list if it will improve our economy?”
The promotional spot sparked discussion on the KOLO Facebook page. “Where was the news director on this? This wasn’t just one web person,” one viewer wrote. “I can’t believe this wasn’t approved by anyone else. It was deliberate and was not a joke and it’s harmful.”
“People are just too sensitive and easily offended because they think they are so important,” another wrote. “Grow a spine and deal with it.”

It’s a frigging newscast, you homos! I’m sure some people think gambling’s not a sin, but you don’t have the gamblers up in arms over this. It’s just you gays that want your lifestyle accepted by EVERYBODY so badly that you’ll get into a lather when somebody calls homosexuality a sin.

Yep, It is all irrational—not logical and not natural. Just Law includes logic and reason and science. There is NO logic in such a dysfunctional, immature “lifestyle” choice. It is actually a mental illness and a hatred for the opposite sex. It is SEXIST and segregates the sexes—exactly like the homosexual Afghanis who have the harem of boys for recreation.
As Marx and all the Postmodernists threw out The Laws of Nature and God-—to remove Objective Truth from culture-—has wreaked death for millions.
You have to have a Standard of Right and Wrong-—in our country—based on Supra Positive Law—Rule of Law—it comes from God-—it is why we have Natural Rights—exactly what Marx wants to eliminate.
The word “Sin” in the New Testament is usually from a Greek word, an archery term, meaning “to miss the mark”. What is the mark?
Jesus was asked that question, “What is the greatest commandment?”
His reply, “To love the Lord your God with all your heart and soul and mind and strength.”
Loving God should include avoiding those thing God has labeled “an abomination”.
It is amazing how a group which usually is characterized as NOT believing in “sin” gets so riled up when labeled as sinners.
Perhaps they are confusing “abomination” with “Obama-Nation” and say, “Yeah man! Right on, dude! I’m ALL for this Obama-Nation stuff!”
Did instant-divorce customers and users of prostitutes complain? I’d think there would be some objections to referring to divorce as a sin - that’a minority position.

You can ignore sin, pretend it isn’t sin, claim sin is good, but no matter what you call it or how you treat it, it is still sin. Homosexuality is sin. Any serious discussion of it should begin there.
The left seems to think that people are able to proclaim a judgement of sin with their words. They entirely miss the point. A sin is a sin whether it is so called or not. People don’t even have to notice. God does.
They also assumes that God calls something a sin because he hates the sinner, while just the opposite is true.
