I donate monthly. Have been doing so for years. Basically a dollar a day. Once a month, $30 comes off my credit card and goes to the Free Republic. No pain. No guilt in ignoring the Freepathon threads.

Let the cliches roll out. For less than the price of a daily cup of coffee, you can help support the Free Republic.

Consider that they are charging a dollar for a copy of the Boston Globe or New York Times. Cancel those rags and donate it to the Free Republic instead!

Let's say you have HBO. Cancel it and give the money to Free Republic instead. Now I like some of the shows on HBO like Broadstreet Empire and The Sopranos. But do you know you can get those shows on Netflix? So forget about HBO and give to the Free Republic instead.
