Reading the extraordinary revelation about Barack Obama’s youthful literary career on Breitbart.com [1] — that his agents published a promotional book in 1991 with a bio of Obama saying he was born in Kenya — set my old mystery writer mind ablaze.
How could that be? Why would they think such a thing?
There are only two forks in this road — either he was born in Kenya or he wasn’t.
I have never been a conspiracy theorist and will assume the latter, although I have to confess that for the first time, given this revelation, I have the tiniest soupçon of doubt.
Nevertheless, the more interesting, and actually frightening and depressing, conclusion is the former. So what if he was born in Kenya? At least we know why he lied about it. He wanted to be president.
But why did Obama’s agents think he was born in Kenya? That’s a more interesting question. (Obama, of course, is a liar either way.)
I will leave aside for the moment the question of whether he vetted the agent’s material himself. As the author of eleven published books and seven produced feature films, I have had plenty of dealings with agents and publicity people and always looked over the bios they had written about me. Every author I ever talked to about it always did too. We’re those kind of egotists. But I have no way of proving that Obama did — although I would faint if he hadn’t.
But whatever he did, the question remains. Why did they put “Born in Kenya” in his bio and leave it there until 2007? The latter part of that question can of course be ascribed to normal human sloth, but the first part — there’s the rub.
Here are the explanations I can think of:
There is one other possibility. The agents simply made up the place of Obama’s birth, but I have never in all my life heard of a literary agent doing such a thing. It’s possible I suppose, but hardly likely. And why?
Anyway, per Occam’s Razor, I am going with the obvious — the agent’s source for Obama’s birthplace was… Barack Obama.
But again why? Why would he lie about where he was born?
Well, he might have wanted to glamorize his past, but if that’s so, it’s pathetic. I suspected there was a more substantive reason, one that would cause him to leave his African birth place in place in the bio. But to take the risk of being found out, it would have to be strong.
My wife Sheryl and I, like Nick and Nora Charles, discussed it over gimlets this evening. We both agreed the mystery lay somewhere in Obama’s college and university years at Occidental, Columbia, and Harvard. We knew, as you do, there must be an explanation for why the court eunuchs of the mainstream media have never bothered even to investigate the scholastic career of the most powerful person in the world.
Because Obama got bad grades? Yawn — so did Bush, Kerry, Biden, Ted Kennedy, and dozens of others who later found themselves making life or death decisions over our lives.
No, it had to be something more significant, more potentially dangerous. What if, we thought, as others have suggested, the reason Obama’s school records have not surfaced is that he enrolled, at one of those institutions at least, as a foreign student — a Kenyan?
But why would he choose to do that? Well, maybe for a grant, a subvention, a scholarship that was available uniquely to students from Africa or similar locales.
Yes, I know that’s not “fair,” in the lexicon of the Lord of Fairness, to have adopted a phony identity and deprived others of an opportunity they may have more richly deserved. But it would certainly fit with Obama’s early need to be recognized as a Kenyan by his agent and, presumably, his publisher. As we all know, it’s not the crime, but the cover-up. (In this case, actually, it’s both.)
As time went on, of course, college drifted away and politics reared its head. The Kenyan identity became less necessary, even a liability, so it was dropped.
I don’t know about you — but this makes sense to me. It also fits with the tomb-like silence around his college years.
But I could be wrong. After all, I am only a mystery writer and, worse yet, a screenwriter. The professional investigative journalists at The New York Times, The Washington Post and The Los Angeles Times will no doubt dig deep and give us the true explanation.
But if they don’t, and I know you’re skeptical, we have to keep pushing, every one of us. We must learn the truth of this. We owe it to Andrew B. — and to our country.

Well, at least if Davis was his father he would be a natural born citizen by anyone’s definition. “Natural child” was an old term for “illegitimate” fwiw.
I don’t know if Davis is Obama’s father or not but I have always been struck by the lack of resemblance between O Sr and O Jr, even before I heard suggestions that someone else might be the father - truly I have never encountered a biological father and son with so little resemblance.
The lack of affinity would help explain why O Sr decamped and O Jr does not maintain ties with his supposed half-brothers. But maybe it’s because O Sr was irresponsible all his life and O Jr has been a cold fish all his.
OK, I admit it, I had to look that up.
War with Iran was almost assured, and our generation was young enough to remember Vietnam. We knew people who went to Vietnam.
Millions of us signed up knowing we might get called within months. The dirt-bag in the white house hid behind his Indonesian and Kenyan passports. A real yellow bellied POS.
That’s a truly novel theory of Obama’s parentage. Are you seriously suggesting that Stanley Dunham encountered one of Obama Sr’s Kenyan sisters (where?) and his 18 y.o. daughter said, sure I’ll raise the baby by myself while I’m trying to go to college, and I’ll accept the stigma of a conception out of wedlock, and an African husband who’ll desert me?
It does have entertainment value, anyway.
“The List” of withheld and scrubbed documents with this creature is incredibly extensive: passport, transcript, employment, Bar, medical, etc, etc, etc. I give him and his handlers no quarter in these frauds.
Davis even becomes the fellow who introduced Grandpa to Obama Sr., and he to his sister.
That way you end up with the correct genes in the right person.
BTW, this is not original with me. When the Birther movement first showed up that's one of the theories.
I was drinking in a bar back in 2003 and met a guy from England. We talked about dating foreign women, and I remember him telling me that it was popular to go to Kenya back in the 60’s for interracial affairs. Told me it was very casual and very common to see White men with black women in Kenya. Makes me wonder if the Aunt in Boston is his mother or if Mr. Dunham was flying to Kenya and left a seed. When did the aunt from Boston arrive in the states? After he started his presidential run? Could it be she was given a free ride to keep her mouth shut?
“IS HE LYING NOW OR WAS HE LYING THEN?” should be plastered all over the net and sent to every legislator and jurist.
All these questions and mysteries - and we freeps have been on this topic for how long? Come on MSM - get up to speed.
This man was born in Kenya and it is becoming more and more obvious that he is not even an American citizen. He has committed multiple document frauds. He has destroyed precious American archives and used the obsequious MSMers for personal gain to the detriment of private American citizens.
He must have told a lot of you people out there he was born in Kenya. Speak up.

While I am not necessarily paranoid enough to see Obama as some kind of Manchurian candidate groomed by left wing forces and George Soros, when the truth is finally known Obama will go down as the greatest fraud in history.
Stanley Ann didn’t seem to have a strong maternal instinct, and seemed to care more about her studies than her family, so why saddle herself with a baby half-brother just as she goes off to college? Not to mention a husband - makes dating a little difficult, even if he’s far away and estranged. The baby is a more practical difficulty, anyway.
Again, where was Sister Obama? travelling with her brother? no, money was tight for him. And if Sister Obama looks like her brother, you’re still not going to get O Jr’s features.

I always believed that 0b0z0's downfall was the education records more than trying to pin him on the non-existent BC. What did he know that we need to re-discover, document and publish?
Why are ALL of Obama’s important early documents forged?
Where was Obama during his “Lost Years?”
Why are there so few known Obama childhood friends?
How many of Obama’s childhood buddies are still alive?
Was Obama a FOREIGN student at Occidental, Columbia or Harvard?
Who wrote the checks for Obama’s education?
Where these question that Andrew Beitbart knew some of the answers to?

To tie the above with some speculative food for thought, please indulge me, (but DO ponder the speculations), as I re-post one of my recently updated comments as follows:
A dictator, such as Obama, only has the power that the people give him.
Currently, at least 40 % of polled American voters are gladly willing to give Obama the necessary power to continue his arrogant dictatorship.
About 47 % of American voters pay NO Personal Federal Income Taxes. These voters are the “fair share” voter base for Dictator Obama. We, in the 53 %, then are paying this 47 % to vote for Obama by virtue of us paying taxes for ourselves AND them.
In this manner we are supporting the voters who vote for Obama, and they will vote to do so again in November.
Dictator Obama has designed Obama”care” to become active only AFTER he is to be re-elected, thus enabling THE NINE SUPREMES to delay ruling on the Constitutionality of the dictate of the individual mandate until Obama is once again the Illegal Foreign White House Occupier, (IFWHO).
The purpose of Dictator Baby-Doc Barack is simple: 1.) Regulate; 2.) Control; and 3.) Destroy. By his own count he has already achieved 60 % of his goals, according to the note he says he carries in his pocket.
Obama’s obvious arrogant and deep hatred of America could have only come from what he was taught in his childhood.
Since there are no known networks of childhood friends from Obama’s past, Obama was probably a member of a Marxist sleeper cell funded by wealthy men with a Marxist view of the World.
The lack of credible documents that has NOT been forged requires a long-term, highly skilled and well-funded support group.
Who the key members of Obama’s probable support group and probable sleeper cell were and are is well known to the Interpol, CIA and the FBI.
Will “Citizen Journalists” such as Breitbart Editor Joel Pollack be able to out-spy the latter two US tax-funded spy entities?
BTW, forget about the LAM, (Liberal Agenda Media), as they are saving their notes to write their tell-all Obama books after Obama has SAFELY retired back home in Kenya.
