The Marfa Lights are fascinating. I watched them once on a trip to Texas.

We stopped there to watch the Marfa Lights too. I never expected to see anything but when we got there they were out in full force. Moving around, disappearing and then coming back to divide into 3 or 4 lights before disappearing again. It was a great experience.

I saw Bailiey’s Light in Brazoria County Texas as well. I lived there for 16 years and only saw it once. Bailey's Light is supposed to be swamp gas and there are swampy areas in that area. I can't imagine any swamps in the Marfa area. The 2 mystery lights acted very different and I don't have an opinion about what they really are.

Ah, the Marfa Lights.

Took a crack at it once when I was in the Big Bend country, but I've never seen them. However, it is soooooo Texas that there is a special roadside park dedicated to viewing the Marfa Lights.

You have any idea what they really are...???
