From what I've read of the Secretary of States actions, he will accept most any assurance from HI officials about Zero's pedigree. A simple affidavit that a document exists. What's puzzling is HI announced a stonewall late this week. They are requesting the SoS prove he needs a certification. I don't get that...unless this is some sort of game.
It is a game and a stall for time. But, like you wrote, in the end obama will be on the ballot, and due to the depth we have sunk as a Nation, stands at least a 50-50 chance of being re-elected.
Actually it is up to each Party to certify the eligibility of their candidate. Pelosie submitted 2 different statements certifying Zero and they have been posted elsewhere on FR many times.
