As would Romney and his Salt Lake City buddies. The “Mountain Meadows Massacre” wasn’t a fluke. Believe it - where Mormons are in the majority - there is no true freedom of religion. They do not believe in separation of Church and State...they were only allowed to be a state after they agreed Brigham Young could not be governor. The cult’s leader, Joseph Smith, greatest wish was to be the POTUS. So, yes I find Romney disgusting.
Plus, he has a terrible RINO record that should disgust anyone claiming to be conservative.
I will not help either of these evil men get elected. I will stand up to the GOPe and force them to stop ignoring conservatives. Both Obama and Romney are evil. Conservatives readily recognize Obama as so, but many are fooled by Romney.

You are a Vietnam era vet, and I don’t doubt the sincerity of your desire to protect the country. I just think you are foolish to place any hope in Romney doing anything better. Like I said, Obama is open evil, Romney is an insidious evil.
It is not hard to rally folks against the obvious. However, it can be extremely difficult to rally against the insidious. That is why I take the stand I do. I loath both men. I’m extremely ticked that of the many fine candidates running in the GOP primary....that Romney is the one to win. I blame the GOPe and Romney’s buying the election. I also find that disgusting.

This reminds me of the analogy of the “drowning man.” A “drowning” man will grab even the sharp edge of an extended sword in desparation to stop from drowning.
No doubt we are the worst off we have ever been in my 58 years under Mr. Obama. However, I don’t see that Romney will be any better. He is “grabbing the sharp edge of a sword in desparation.” You are still going to drown, but with cut up hands.
IF you folks really want to stop Obama. Then REFUSE to let the GOPe force Romney on us. IT is NOT impossible for a determined group to so disrupt the convention and activities leading up to it that some form of placation will be reached. NEVER give up to the “Romney’s all that’s left” mentality. That isn’t fighting, that is capitulation.
Join me in calling GOP delegates to your state and telling them that you are mad as heck about the GOPe’s pick in Romney. They will be held accountable. We must field a better candidate. Folks, Romney is not going to win. There are too many in his party that just won’t vote for him.
