You are quite right, Disney should have just kept it as the original name, “A Princess of Mars” but following so soon after its recent mega flop Mars needs Moms some eggheads figured Mars was a baaaad word for marketing.
Well I can say this, Battleship (the game) has been a family favorite, my son and I have played it a million times.
Movies are supposed to be FUN, to be entertaining, obviously something a socialistic society would frown upon, they don’t want rebellious dreamers, look at what Russia did to that class.
Its marginalization of decent films full of good old fashion patriotism.If America went full scale forced socialistic in the future we would NEVER see films like this anymore. Sometimes real entertainment is cheap, its silly and often just escapism.
Battleship was just a decent entertainment, my son and I liked it equally as well as Avengers, I more so because of of Big Mo saving the day.
The five minutes I watched were very painful, but I'm sure they filmed it for almost nothing.
