I disagree. We're talking about an American electorate that as a whole is a fairly dim bulb. Voters in general don't view Obama with open eyes as conservatives do. They view him as stymied by political enemies who have caused him to fall short of his own lofty expectations.
It also doesn't help that the GOP voters weren't daring enough to nominate a bold, conservative candidate to go forward.
Put those two together and 0bama will win handily on election day. Yes, it sucks, but he has too many built-in advantages for Romney to overcome.
