Mitt Romney needs to be severely conservative when it comes to judicial appointments. Not sure I trust his abortion stance.

Governor Romney did appoint a lot of judges, none were conservative, but 25% of them were registered as republicans, if that makes you feel better.

America is broke.

After 60 % of each workday has expired, or 1:48 PM, the US Federal government has to borrow money in order to complete the 8 hour work day.

Romney will continue to increase the amount of money that the US Federal Government will have to borrow from YOUR Grandchildren’s descendants.

It is all about the money, your grandchildren’s descendants money.

Since the Primary Campaign smokescreen topics of “Jobs, Jobs, Jobs” and “The Economy” were the substitute topics in order to avoid solving THE GIGANTIC NATIONAL DEBT, Romney never came up with a workable Federal Baseline, year to year, Spending Cut Plan.

We as a Nation of Responsible Adults can no longer afford to “get behind whoever the empty suit of the year is” and hope for the best. “By golly, it will be different THIS time! You just mark my words!” Is an insane way of trying to fail.

After a non-problem solving Primary, and >3 years of Obama’s incompetence and finantial disaster, the best the RINO Party can do is to continue to endorse, close ranks behind a Candidate who has not even won enough delagates by this late date in May to declare himself the Nominee. AND he is statistically tied with Obama in National Opinion Polls!

ROMNEY Is A WEAK CANDIDATE!

Voters to RINOs: MAYDAY! MAYDAY! MAYDAY!

IF Romney is doing as poorly as I have described, THEN let us DUMP ROMNEY and choose a MUCH better Nominee. THINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW, if y’all doubt me then just read any thread on FR and count the number of FReeper voters who plan to sit on their hands instead of voting.

Blame, flame or shame all that you want to, but the fact remains Romney is a VERY weak Candidate for President, but would make a great Ambassador to the UN in President Allen West’s Administration.

Oh brother. He will select liberals like his beliefs as he did as Governor. I am still hoping he and Obama LOSE. We luckily have very good candidates running that we should get behind like Virgil Goode and others.

I don't know. We are fired up to vote even if it is in opposition to Oromney. Fired up enough to kick Mitt's pet chairpersons to the curb in Michigan the other day.

” - - - We are fired up to vote even if it is in opposition to Oromney. Fired up enough to kick Mitt’s pet chairpersons to the curb in Michigan the other day.”

GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is EXACTLY what is needed to blast the dead tree stumps, i.e. the GOP Elite, out of the way so we Conservatives can build the road to VICTORY over Obama in November.

IF we behave as RINO Sheep and Cave-In to whoever the RINOs endorse, then we Conservatives are no better than our RINO US Representatives and Senators that we say we don’t like.

This election is for ALL of the marbles! We cannot afford to play the old RINO game that caused the defeat of McCain to Marxist Obama.

Obama is much stronger politically than he was against McCain, but the RINO Party refuses to consider that reality.

It is time to DUMP ROMNEY who is to weak of a candidate to beat Obama.

The Delegates need to choose in an OPEN Convention a strong NON-RINO Nominee who can soundly defeat Obama, and coat-tail US Senators and Representatives into Congress.

Romney is not that man: DUMP ROMNEY!

We must learn from the mistakes made by the McCain Campaign and rub the collective noses of the RINOs in it! Your “kicking to the curb” is a perfect example of what needs to be done from now on!

Romney is counting on the old Classical Conservative Cave-In.

I can hear Romney now: “You have no choice but to vote for me. I’ll be even more severely Conservative than I was when I rammed through Romney”care.” Trust me, I know how The Economy works. Etc, etc., etc.”

Keep up the good work, as the battle to win back a CONSERVATIVE White House is starting to break wide open!

“Not sure I trust his abortion stance. “

What difference does it make. The laws are in force. It is unlikely the courts will hear a case to alter them to any great extent.

Romney’s position on abortion is very important. We need to start looking to his future judicial appointees etc. .

Is conservatism dead? explain to me how we ended up with Romney as the front runner? are the voter’s ignorant? unaware of his liberal record? and not to play the class envy card but has the time come when only millionaires can become president? the old dixiecrats were more conservative than Romney.

Like Romney or not like him — you should know that sitting on your hands IS A VOTE FOR OBAMA:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2883490/posts

...”Because they can add and subtract. The Obama campaign knows that one of the reasons President Obama won in 2008 was that from 2004 to 2008 between 3 million and 4 million Republicans decided to stay home and did not vote. As Obama won several states by razor-thin margins and as his campaign knows he is suffering from an “enthusiasm gap” from some of his previous supporters, they are going to need to suppress the Romney vote in 2012. * * * * *

Dude, it looks like your choices are either:

a) Obama
b) Romney

Romney isn’t the ideal candidate by any stretch (I would have liked Herman Cain myself), but are you saying you want another 4 years of President Narcissus Obama??

If so, you need your head examined. No matter how bad you think Romney is, I can’t see him as being worse than OBAMA.

Does Romney HATE this country and HATE hard-working, successful people like Obutthole does?

Next question: Are you an Obama troll?

As for your last sentence, I agree with you that Allen West would be a far better candidate than Romney.

But given our primary system, it’s too late for that to happen.

” - - - it’s too late for that to happen.”

This is May and the Convention is in August.

If the GOP Elite can be convinced between now and then that Romney will lose to Obama, just as McCain lost to Obama, then the RNC will declare an OPEN Convention.

If you don’t try, the RINOs will be happy with you, as RINOs have perfected the way to lose elections to Marxist Obama.

As for me, I ain’t heard no stinkin’ Fat Lady sing! I’m swinging for the fences!

My Republican Congressperson (along with many others) has done an excellent job of opposing nearly all of Obama's leftist legislation.

Legislation wise, Obama has been stuck in neutral since 2010.

Her track record when big government legislation was proposed by the Bush administration is far less sterling. In fact, I think she went along with every one of his programs.

Will Romney propose big government legislation? The fact that his own statement on Obamacare is that he wants to repeal and replace should be of concern to all conservatives.

Replace with what? If the government is involved in any health care program, it is bound to be inefficient, expensive and individual liberty reducing.

Will my Congressperson stand up to a Romney plan like she has opposed the Obama plan.

I just don't see it happening, and history backs me up on this.

Obama's stupid plan is likely to go up in smoke this June. If it does, I don't want a bunch of Republicans resurrecting it under the guise that they can do it better. Any government health care plan is a very bad thing.

All of the Romney supporters( most of whom make no logical argument and just scream the same trite insults at non Romney supporters) never address this question:

Will your Republican Senator and/or Representative stand up to Romney?

Romney didn’t have a large say in his judges. Massachusetts system for judges forced Romney to pick from a list given to him from a committee.

The Governor had a huge say in judges he appointed, as a liberal and a supporter of many democrats over the years, Romney appointed judges who reflected his personal views.

“Romney won praise in the legal community when he replaced regional judicial nominating committees that were viewed as politically tainted with a centralized Judicial Nominating Commission. The commission considers applicants using a ‘’blind” first phase of the selection process that removes names from applications in an attempt to ensure the candidates will be judged on their merits. In addition, all of Romney’s nominees have been submitted to a Joint Bar Committee on Judicial Nominations, which rates candidates as qualified, well-qualified, or unqualified — and each has been found to be either qualified or well-qualified.”
