You are promoting Obama’s re-election and lying about doing so.

RY, You're the one lying by bearing false witness against your brother.

Remember, the Party selected Mitt Romney who established a 'climate protection plan' based on ICELI and the UN Kyoto treaty that Al Gore illegally signed when he was vice president.

Addressing Climate Change Responsibly

The same human economic activity that has brought freedom and opportunity to billions has also increased the amount of carbon in the atmosphere. While the scope and longterm consequences of this are the subject of ongoing scientific research, common sense dictates that the United States should take measured and reasonable steps today to reduce any impact on the environment. Those steps, if consistent with our global competitiveness will also be good for our national security, our energy independence, and our economy. Any policies should be global in nature, based on sound science and technology, and should not harm the economy.

Quite a few people on this forum understands that climate change legislation is designed to eliminate private property and create a global tax (Cap and Trade) for which the common US citizen has no representation, nor any say in its expenditure. It does establish an income stream to finally effect a global governing body that will be fully funded and not rely on government representatives and pesky hard to pass treaties in the US congress.

The corrupt republican party likes Mitt because he has illustrated he will go the mile to establish this final blow to US sovereignty and individual rights.

Citizens should NOT support this plank of the platform, nor any candidate who will implemented it.

It is shortsighted to make your sole vote criteria for a candidate, to vote against someone.

In the American I knew, we voted FOR someone. For their values and for their actions in previously held offices.

I can't believe how messed up this debate has become.

And you KNOW this climate change policy will hurt us, because it has been designed to hurt us, no matter what lie the republican party is trying to put forward. And this plan means, besides global taxation, more socialism, more spying on American citizens and further destruction of our free enterprise system.

This Republican Party is SO CORRUPT, the are actually FOR global taxation! NO American citizen should support that!

Only if Christians follow your unprincipled counsel and vote for what they say they hate.

There is never a perfect candidate. Every vote is a compromise of principle.

You know this just as well as anyone else and yet you pretend to think that this election is somehow different.

It is not and everyone knows it.

RY, You're the one lying by bearing false witness against your brother.

Nonsense. It is the Mitt Haters Club that has turned this site into a swamp of lies.

Everyone understands the facts at hand. Everyone understands the options.

Only the Mitt Haters are lying about their motivations, lying about their actions, and lying about those who have made a different choice.

What an amazing post/essay and testimony to the sovereignty of God, P-Marlowe. The following goes to the heart of the discussion that has raged on Free Republic for a couple of months now.

I have no fear of what Obama can do for America simply because I believe what Jesus said to Pilate, that he would have no power at all if it were not given to him by His Father.

So I trust that whatever Power Obama has is power given to him by God. Proverbs 21:1 says clearly that the the heart of the ruler "is a stream of water in the hand of the LORD; he turns it wherever he will."

So I do not fear Obama. I fear God. .... What will America gain if every Christian sacrifices their principles and votes for a pro-abortion, pro-homosexual lobby president merely because we fear that if we don't sacrifice our principles on the alter of expediency, then God will give us 4 more years of what God has already given us?

The biblical testimony is clear. God considers sacrificing one's children to Molech to be worse than disloyalty to the nation of Israel. In fact, the final prophets of the norther and southern kingdoms were to a man disloyal to their nation. Jeremiah was thrown into a dungeon of muck because he advised surrender to the King of Babylon.

Jeremiah 32:35 They built high places for Baal in the Valley of Ben Hinnom to sacrifice their sons and daughters to Molech, though I never commanded, nor did it enter my mind, that they should do such a detestable thing and so make Judah sin.

Jeremiah 37: "This is what the LORD says: Do not deceive yourselves, thinking, 'The Babylonians will surely leave us.' They will not! 10 Even if you were to defeat the entire Babylonian army that is attacking you and only wounded men were left in their tents, they would come out and burn this city down." .............. he arrested Jeremiah and brought him to the officials. 15 They were angry with Jeremiah and had him beaten and imprisoned in the house of Jonathan the secretary, which they had made into a prison. 16 Jeremiah was put into a vaulted cell in a dungeon, where he remained a long time.

God did not judge Judah and Israel because their prophets were disloyal to the idea of the nation. No, God judged the nation because they had so totally left the way of the Lord that they were engaged in such terrible sin even to the point of sacrificing their children.

However, -- and this requires spiritual insight -- God inspired The Apostle Paul to write:

1 Corinthians 6:9 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders

2 Corinthians 11:3 But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent's cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ.

I Tim 2:13 For Adam was first formed , then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived , but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

And again from the Apostle Paul, who warned us:

2 Corinthians 11:14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.

Galatians 1:8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!

As John wrote: "The one who has ears, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."

I am actively campaigning against Obama and Romney, and I’m doing it on the this website. I have been doing exactly that for the past 8 years or so regarding Romney, and about 6 for Obama.

I have never been asked not to campaign against Romney and Obama until very recently.

I have never had my conservative credentials questioned in the past 8 years because I campaigned against one or the other of those hard left liberals.

I have received the solid support of the Forum itself and all posters with very few exceptions over the past 8 years. Those romney/obama supporters were deemed trolls by the greater Freeper community, and they were mostly Zotted.

NOW, who is behaving DIFFERENTLY than they have behaved on the past number of years? Is it me or is it you, rogue yam?

Is it possible for me to find anti-Romney statements in your past or have you always been a supporter of Romney?

Romney was my fourth or fifth choice this year just like McCain was about the same for me in 2008.

I voted for Juan and I’ll vote for Mitt. I’m genuinely having a much easier time of it this year.

I have taken no issue with those who simply state that they will vote for neither Mitt nor Hussein. Why would I?

The ones I have clashed with are those who campaign vociferously against Mitt (but not against Hussein) while claiming implausibly to be indifferent between the two, those who lie about Mitt, those who say Mitt can’t possibly win, and those who lie about or act abusively toward FReepers who happen to choose to vote for Mitt and/or think he might win.

I am doing what I have always done here. I state forthrightly what I believe, I campaign honestly for my preferred outcome, and I attempt to analyze intelligently the situation we are in.

I am not a liar and I despise liars. This has brought me into a lot of conflict around these parts over the last several weeks and I expect it to continue. Oh well.

I didn’t choose this conflict but I have no intention of backing down. I don’t own this site or make the rules here, but I know what I think is right. Unless and until I hear the onrushing sweep of threshing oars, I will continue.

I have to strongly second xzins post.

And adding my 2 cents:

Romney is the lightening Rod, if you will, that seems to separate those who are willing to take the narrow road and remain true to their God-given principles, morals, and and Gods commands, and refuse to vote for a lying, left-wing, Progressive Liberal on those principles alone, and those willing to both live in fear and sacrifice their own Christian Principles in what can only be labeled a Party over Principle approach.

Excellent post by both xzins and P-Marlowe.

Amazing.
It has been demonstrated dozens of times on FR about Romney’s record and you have apparently dismissed it all.
Romney is a liberal. His record is liberalism.
I do not vote for liberals.
I have said that from the beginning, and you called me a liar (as well as others) and said I was actively campaigning for BHO.
I will write it slowly, I will not vote for the liberal called Romney - period.

I campaign against both.

I see no significant difference between Romney and Obama (3rd way social corporatist vs international socialist)

I do not believe Mitt will win.

You guys have clearly won this round on this thread on this day and every other day on this subject. You should get a medal!

There are those who deal with nothing that is unseen. If it appears before them, they can pretty much assure us that God sent it and therefore it’s our duty to prop that sucker up.

Just be thankful you can navigate the narrow road, since you very well know where the other one leads—that broad one. It’s right in front of you, easy to find and very well lit, and you can see all the pretty lights and LOTS of your friends are there too. AND, and it’s no test. Or is it?

We believe in God Almighty and his power and will for whole peoples, WHOM HE HAS BEEN KNOWN TO TEST. IF, I say, IF, this is a test, it is likely the USA has failed it in its willful exchange for some “PEACE” at any PRICE.

That price you have listed a hundred times. It’s Romney’s record, history, quotes, interviews, legislation, all in spades. Heck, there has been LIVE video, for crying out loud. These people know it. It’s indisputable. It’s clear as a bell, for anyone with eyes to see and ears to hear. One has to will himself to ignore it, to turn that sow’s ear into the silk purse, lipstick on the pig, lemons into lemonade.

Everything sitting in the Supreme Court today, against Obama, Romney drew up in Massachusetts, the template. What more needs to be said? Casting pearls before swine comes to mind and arguing on God, outside of the Spirit of the Lord is vain when it is so obviously “in vain”.

Romney is not PEACE, but our country has willfully nominated him because he was the destroyer of all the others, and he had the blessing, backing and funding of our masters to outrun them by outspending them. They saw his record in MA. They liked it. They liked him. They managed to cram him down the throat of many. Just not ours.

So let them choke.

Let God be true and every man a liar.

The Apostle Paul said, “It is for FREEDOM that Christ has set you FREE!”

Tyranny Despises Freedom.

Let us pray to the Lord that He turns back this monstrous "National RomneyCare" that has been forced on us as ObamaCare.

It will be some sign of God's blessing for the Supremes to strike it down altogether. It will be a worrisome sign if it -- and its death panels -- continue in existence, even in a non-funded form.

The socialists will then be able to kill at the beginning of life and toward the end of life. In their striving to control the middle of life, they will seek power to "euthanize or imprison the 'dangerous' or the 'infirm' for "security or humanitarian" reasons.

Perhaps. But, keep in mind a majority of those justices were put in, in another time. Trying to say if we are rewarded at all, it will be just. It will be just because it was another time, a reward for actions of another time, only because a Marxist did not put their names in. Christian presidents put the majority of those names forth for confirmation.

It’s a mustard seed, but it has its reward.

It’s from the 2008 campaign we fell and thereafter have been justly rewarded. Have we learned yet? Apparently not.

Just sayin’.

Thank you so much for those beautiful Scriptures, dear xzins, and for your and P-Marlowe's testimony of faith! And thank you, dear EternalVigilance, for sharing your concerns.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. - 2 Ch 7:14

You continue to post idiotic crap.

There have been many things posted about Romney's record. Much of it is idiotic and/or false. But that misses the point entirely. Romney's record in MA is one set of data, but the real question is what will a Romney first-term Presidency starting in January 2013 be like compared to an Obama second term starting then. Those who spew unhinged, tendentious, and flat-out dishonest garbage about what Romney supposedly did as Gov. of MA back then and ignore the actual reality of next January are completely useless at best. We have a choice and that choice is not to decide what we think Romney should have done in MA years ago.
