I agree with Popman, though, that there might be many who will just stay home in protest. They may not go the the polls to vote for Romney, but they won't have the motivation to get out and vote for Obama that they had in 2008.

There will also be black people who will not be inspired to volunteer to work the phones, knock on doors or offer rides to the polls. They may vote themselves, but fewer will go out of their way to make sure others vote.
