Republican candidates need to focus on jobs, the economy and the debt. IMO they need to stay on message and let talk radio and the alternate news media go after Jeremiah Wright.

Yep, doesn't surprise me one bit. I'll tune his radio show in sometimes just out of curiosity, and he doesn't disappoint. He's either having a completely dumb shouting match with a liberal caller, or he has Rove, or some other moderate on his show. I remember how much he used to kiss McCain's arse!

I don’t think that the concept of staying on message would be considered some kind of campaign secret.

You pick your theme(s) for the day, week, etc and you stick to those messages without letting yourself get pulled in to deeply into the ever changing topics of talk radio.

Clinton knew that there were others hammering Bush on certain issues. But he saved his attacks for the economy.

The GOP cannot win this election on the theme that Rev. Wright is a bad guy.
