Move Along, Nothing To See: Politico's Gavin Whitewashes Obama Primary Embarrassments
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Imagine that in one 2004 Republican primary, an opponent running to George Bush's left got 40% of the vote, and in another primary, more than 4-in-10 Republicans voted for "uncommitted" rather than support the incumbent president. Now imagine the doom the MSM would have found that to portend for Bush.

But when a candidate running to the right of Barack Obama garners 40% of the vote in the Arkansas Dem primary, and "uncommitted" amasses an astounding 42% in Kentucky . . . crickets. On Morning Joe today, Politico's Patrick Gavin proclaimed that PBO's embarrassing performance "doesn't matter."

Imagine the MSM field day if Pres. Bush had suffered similar embarrassments in 2004! Ping to Today show list.

Just put it on the list with the others:
1. Obama’s claim to have been born in Kenya...held for sixteen years.

2. The decision of the Catholic Church to sue HHS over the establishment clause.

3. The huge debt Obama has run up in three years.

None of this is going to get covered in the msm. They will not touch anything that could hurt the messiah.

What they mean is it doesn't matter because the Marxists are going to steal the election mo matter which way the country votes and you'll never know because the MSM won't report accurate totals anyway.

We don't have to. There have been several primaries now where almost that many have voted against Romney, even though he has no opponents who are actually left in the game.

Let's face it - both candidates are losers, and a lot of Americans are unhappy with the current choices.

What is it with these Politico guys and their grills?

Between this cat and Alexander Burns, it looks like a repeat of the photo finish at the Preakness.

I missed this today, but I DID see their funereal mood when they were discussing the Wisconsin governor call-back. Even Mika jumped in on this (”The unions spent a lot also”), and Joe and Halperin hammered ‘em. Loved it...
