Mike’s immigrant plan to save cities
nypost.com ^ | 05/23/2012 | DAVID SEIFMAN

Ratcheting up his controversial proposal for revitalizing America’s cities, Mayor Bloomberg yesterday suggested that the federal government “deliberately force” large municipalities to take in immigrants as the only hope for salvaging their battered economies.

Bloomberg spoke at a Midtown forum, timed to the release of a new study titled “Not Coming to America: Why the US is Falling Behind in the Global Race for Talent.” He was joined on the panel by Mexican billionaire Ricardo Salinas, whose company helped underwrite the research.

“I would argue the federal government should go one step further. They should deliberately force some places that don’t want immigrants to take them, because that’s the only solution for these big, hollowed-out cities where industry has left and is never going to come back unless you get some people to move there.”

Mas immigration through an open border does not bring “talent”. We’d have plenty of “talent” if it were not for the failures we call publik skoolz and liberal colleges.

Oh, good—more gangs. [/s] I’m sure this is just a backdoor plan to move immigrants out his city. What a douche.

Hey, Mikey...

I'm looking through the Constitution to see where that is a legitimate role for the federal government to play.

I'm still looking.

Come on, Mikey, it must be in here somewhere...

These NYC people like Bloomberg are dangerous and were behind the 1965 Immigration Act that opened the doors of America to the world regardless of background or country of origin.

Prior to that our immigration policies were controlled and gave precedence to western Europeans that had common culture. This Act changed us from a predominantly 10% minority that we could support to a balkanized nation of many unskilled workers that will make us 50% minority.

The problem is not minority per se, but having an overabundance of immigrants that do not ever assimilate and that are not skilled and productive. They take a scarcity of jobs from native born citizens too which is unfair.

Bloomberg and others of his belief on unlimited immigration need to fund this if they support it with a 90% surtax. Mikey you want it, you pay for it as we do not want it foisted upon us. These people scare me because they have undo influence and they rarely pay the costs.

I’ll take 1970 America over this regressive zoo any day, the last 100 million people have not been good for us, the next 500 million will turn us into downtown Blade Runner with no recall at all of the original America.

The “Blooming Idiot” is denying the obvious fact that large cities are now largely obsolete.

Some people want to use force to bring them in.
Some people want to use force to keep them out.

Some people say “Let the free market, the law of supply and demand, work without artificial interference through the use of force.

We'll import the residents of Kabul to New York City so Mayor Mike can learn to be a good Dhimmi — up until his Muslim Brotherhood buddies cut his head off. See, Mike, they still subscribe to death for Infidels and Allahu Akbar! Meanwhile, the NYC bureaucrats will be providing them with free heath care, food, spending money, living quarters, and a mosque with a radical Imam. Life is good! Praise be unto the Prophet.

Ninth Circuit to spend $1M for Hawaiian Luau and David Aguilar to tour country to "interview" recently hired border patrol agents

US CBP Agents team up with Mexican Drug Cartels

Snips: In a troubling admission to Congress, a high-ranking official from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has revealed that the agency charged with protecting the nation’s borders is plagued with internal corruption that could put the U.S. at risk.

What sort of corruption? The federal agents who are supposed to safeguard America against terrorists and instruments of terror are teaming up with Mexican drug cartels and alien smugglers, according to Customs and Border Protection Deputy Commissioner Thomas Winkowski. The shocking acknowledgement was made by Winkowski at a recent hearing before the House Committee on Homeland Security.

In the last eight years, 138 agents from CBP have been charged with corruption and more than 2,000 have been charged in other criminal cases, according to Winkowski’s testimony before the panel.

This frightening disclosure comes on the heels of a federal report that said DHS determined the Border Patrol achieved its “goal” by gaining “operational control” over a mere 13% of the nation’s borders. That means the feds have the ability to detect and interdict illegal activity in just a snippet—1,107-mile range—of the nation’s foreign borders. Yet this is considered mission accomplished for the U.S. government.

Mayor Bloomberg and Mexican billionaires say: Have the fedgov “deliberately force” large municipalities to take in more immigrants to improve the economy. They should deliberately force some places that don’t want immigrants to take them

The U.S. Government has been doing this for 30 years now, in the face of Americans who have voted for relief, demanded relief, screamed, petitioned and protested. And all were ignored by the U.S. Government oligarchy, as the private sector tax payers have been pushed to their knees.

The corrupt from government and their foreign billionaire friends, now admit their intentions.

This is an artificial situation, market forces have been destroyed and are being prevented from coming into play because of this mass of third world humanity flooding into our work places and into our social support systems.

The country dies, the government grows into an all controlling monster, and the Democratic party will be it’s master.

The jungle law of a never ending supply of fresh meat is the rule, so market forces never come into play, the vast pool of good jobs taken by immigrants grows by leaps and bounds and it is a race to the wage bottom that cannot end as long as mass immigration is never ending.

The welfare rolls grow as we import the world’s most neediest, most incompetent peoples, and the level of liberalism that they will be voting for in 20 years will make the liberalism of today’s immigrant vote seem like conservatism in contrast.

If you care about America, about Americans, about conservatism then support ending this mass immigration.

Bloomberg is a wealthy lib who knows darn well such a policy will be bad for America and its cohesiveness. The vast majority of Americans are stuck here and have neither the wherewithal nor a fall back country to go to as does Bloomberg.

BTW Rick Santorum was a big proponent of bringing in many thousands of muslim Somalis to PA and other states. Bush (with lots of Santorum’s help) brought in tens of thousands of Muslims to the USA and Pennsylvania in 2004. Santorum never responded to me when I wrote him asking for the rationalization.
