Naydeline Blanco made history this morning as the first baby delivered in the new Marian Regional Medical Center.
The hospital opened to emergency room patients at 7 a.m., and Marian staff and volunteers began moving patients from the old hospital into the new facility at 8 a.m.
The little girl was born at 10:50 a.m. in one of the hospital’s labor and delivery rooms on the third floor, according to Marian spokesperson Jessa Brooks. Her mother, Elva Blanco, was visiting the area from Mexico when she went into labor, according to Brooks.
Do they have a foodstamp office downstairs?
It made me upset a little when I heard it on the news this morning. It really is a wonderful hospital.
Her host country picks up the tab, and her baby has US citizenship to boot - what a happy coincidence.

This upsets me too. We are being invaded by these lowlifes and our gov. seeks votes instead of following the rule of law! This womans timing was perfect.

You’d be surprised about how many Mexican women in advanced stages of pregnancy somehow just happen to be vacationing in the United States when they go into labor. No kidding, there are three women in my office who proudly proclaim just that scenario as the circumstance of their birth in the U.S. They are actually militant about it.

And what’s really amazing is that — even though she’s been taken -back- to Mexico to be raised, even if she never learns a word of English, in 35 years she can return to the United States and be fully Constitutionally qualified to become president.

I'll bet they are - people who live of the largess of others usually are contemptuous of those who paid their way.

On vacation? On vacation to a foreign country? I’m sure then that she was able to write a check for the $10,000 or so to cover the costs of the birth. For my two kids I had to prepay a significant amount before they would accept my wife and I into the hospital. I even had pretty good insurance. But then I’m just a lowly American citizen.

I thought California didn’t have any money. Had to raise taxes, shut down schools, let the prisoners out. Plenty of money to cover this lady though.
