Naydeline Blanco made history this morning as the first baby delivered in the new Marian Regional Medical Center.

The hospital opened to emergency room patients at 7 a.m., and Marian staff and volunteers began moving patients from the old hospital into the new facility at 8 a.m.

The little girl was born at 10:50 a.m. in one of the hospital’s labor and delivery rooms on the third floor, according to Marian spokesperson Jessa Brooks. Her mother, Elva Blanco, was visiting the area from Mexico when she went into labor, according to Brooks.

“There will be justice one day.”

I wish there would be just us one day, but the more I look around, it seems like it will be just them.

It’s ridiculous. The article doesn’t mention whether she was “Vacationing” here legally or not. Assuming she entered the country legally, what are the border agents thinking ? People who might need imminent medical care should never be allowed to enter the country. Anybody more than 6 months pregnant should be barred. She should have been refused on the grounds that her doctor and preparations for her medical condition were already made in Mexico. Just as anyone with a possibly life-threatening medical condition should not be traveling away from their home and their own doctor.

We've gone from illegal immigrants to undocumented to vacationing immigrants.

Wonderful.

The hospital just opened up, and it’s already in debt.

In other news:

Mayor Bloomberg and Mexican billionaires said: Have the fedgov “deliberately force” large municipalities to take in more immigrants to improve the economy. They should deliberately force some places that don’t want immigrants to take them

WE faced this same thing in Yuma...some of these women would “visit” the parking lots until the water broke and into the hospital they would go...and come out with a bouncing baby and all kinds of US bennies in the bargain.

“There will be justice one day.”

It can’t come soon enough.

I am with you there. However, the RINOs and the evil left will make sure that day is way into the future. I have no doubt there are over 40 million illegal parasites in this country.

The Statists are hell-bent on making sure our future is a Socialist sewer. The elites will laugh from behind gated communities at the rest of America.

To be fair, I lived in Spain at the time I was pregnant, and at the beginning of my 9th month, my husband and I decided to go spend a weekend in Portugal. I had some false labors there—I thought I might have the baby there, which would have been a nightmare for all the paperwork. Portugal does not grant citizenship to children of foreigners; Spain does (or it did, at the time).

The US simply should not grant automatic citizenship to kids born here unless their parents are legal residents.

I wonder—if the population of anchor babies born in the US and raised in Mexico becomes large enough, can we annex Mexico? On the grounds that it’s holding a large number of our citizens?

“The elites will laugh from behind gated communities at the rest of America.”

They won’t laugh long. Because when the SHTF a gate won’t even be a speed bump in slowing down the folks who will be going after them. Think Paris, 1793.
