It was always a fake marriage. Hitlery compromised everything for power.

It's sad... very sad, and awfully telling when a woman who was in an Ivy league school during the whole "women's liberation" movement STILL felt she had to compromise her *everything* in order to get ahead in life. The truth is she had *everything* she needed to get ahead in life ALREADY - without Bill! (Same with Michelle Obama incidentally who "was sold on it" after her first date with Barack.)

Maybe this is why I catch such hell from *open-minded* women who insist I MUST have compromised everything in my marriage, and to top it off I MUST be listening to "the church" or otherwise am listening to some man and not being afforded the ability to think or act for myself.

They never understand true compromise, or that women CAN think for themselves. THAT must be why they attack conservative women so often. In general, our marriages are based upon love and commitment to common goals - the important word in there being LOVE which is nothing without respect. Not that there are not those among them who do marry for the *right reasons*, but it seems many couples in *high power* relationships don't have that foundation.

I feel sorry for all of them. No-one's marriage is perfect, but at least one should start it out on something more profound than political aspirations... That must be why MO and Hillary look so dang bitter all the time. For all that *power* they have, they are STILL hanging on to the old BS about women and divorce (that everyone will see them as whores). Worth working through problems? Yes. Worth destroying your image as a woman girls should look up to (despite politics)? Definitely NOT.

All just my $.02. I've been hearing a LOT of this kind of stuff from women since the whole "war on women" thing became such a *hit* again recently... I'm tired of it, and I'm especially tired of people pretending that the Church (ANY church) makes it a point to brainwash the women and give men the go-ahead to do whatever they wish... IF that's going on anywhere then it's no longer a *church* and has moved into *cult* territory.
