You would “defend to the death” someone’s right to wear a shirt like that, freedumb?
Boy.
Well my take on it is that when I saw a car parked outside my house with a F+++ BUSH bumper sticker, I politely told the fellow that he was under no obligation to remove the bumper sticker, but that it might be better for his car in the long run, were the neighborhood children not able to see it.
He understood, and covered up the sticker.
Ya nailed it!
BINGO!!
Perfect.
Your last paragraph sums up exactly how I feel about so much that is going on.
thanks.
How far this country has fallen. Back in the 1950’s and before it was customary for men to wear a jacket and tie when flying. No one dared wear jeans to Church either.
I feel sorry for the kids of today, I really do.
She wore that shirt because she knew the expletive would get her into trouble, and then she’d whine about how she, as a crusader for women, was discriminated against.
LOLOLOL!!
I wouldn’t.
The comments under the article are telling. I especially like how the one sane poster over there (”dventimi”) took the author to task for her “facts”, AND didn’t let her skate when she tried to dismiss his altogether calm and fair argument as “a rant”. Ms. Jacobson doesn’t exactly seem to be the sharpest knife in the drawer.
The other lefties are so histrionic, it’s downright funny.
Maybe today, but it was not that long ago that I would have challenged you on that assertion.....lol
Very Good! Very True!
If we are going to suffer for a cause, may it be a righteous cause.
“If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part He is evil spoken of, but on your part He is glorified. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or as an evil doer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters. Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.” (1 Peter 4:14-16)
“Remember Lot’s wife.” (Luke 17:32)
