I looked to see if you had a thread, not sure if this small storm would warrant you starting one. We’re getting an early start this year.
Wet windy weekend on tap.
ok, I’m dreaming right?
did I just see a named sub tropical storm moving west south west?
I either need to go back to bed or pour more coffee...
Theyll occasionally do all sorts of crazy veering around, backtracking, circling, even after landfall.
right...extremely rare
yes, I just looked and there is a frontal boundary north of it forcing is south
Sorry it's started so early folks. Good luck!
Weird just weird,I just drove through the area last week and encountered some winds on either side of Savannah and Charleston but nothing else.
We can only hope. We got some decent rain for about an hour the night before last, but the whole Sarasota area is as dry as I've ever seen it.
Odd isn’t it? Moving south southwest...lol..not something we see too often here.
Hope it doesn’t strengthen. Going to Hilton Head next Saturday and not sure if that landscape can take much more than a weak TS.
Bring on the rain - this State is the driest I have ever seen it. Even our weeds are withering.
Lol crazy isn’t it?
Nobody needed to tell me this was here. Been in pain for days, and last night was dreaming all about being in pain.
Some weather service needs to give me a job. My bones are better than any old satellite.
Ty not often we have one coming from the ne like this. Very strange!
Left the Isle of Palm SC yesterday ...you could see the storm forming down South over the ocean looks like we made the right decision to come on home
Back in '94, Gordon taunted us for days. Cut across FL from west to east, up off the coast to SC, sat for a few days then did a loop-de-lu and came back down to FL and then left up through GA.
The pic below really doesn't do it justice because you have to remember the storm itself can be hundreds of miles wide. So the rain, cloudy weather occupies a wide area.
Isn’t that the truth!!? I am thinking I may be one of the youngest hip replacement candidates ever. I am so ready to have relief. Though doc hasn’t mentioned it I have really been thinking about it.
