If you didn't register for selective service, you are not eligible for federal employment.

Since Senators, Representatives and Presidents all get their checks from tax payers via the federal government, does not having registered make Obama ineligible?

Even if elected officials are technically exempt, it makes the man look like the shirker he is. And my criticism comes from someone who was actively anti-war in my college days, asked for (and received) a conscientious objector status (1-A-O), fought the draft for 3 years and when I finally failed to stop the draft letter, reluctantly went in to serve (US Army Medical Corps). Here's the extra weird part of the deal: the only 2-year period of my adult life in which I never handled a firearm was my two years in the US Army.

It took me awhile, but I DID finally wise up. See tag line.
