The couple have one child together, a son born to Marinoni last year. His name is Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni. Nixon has two children from her previous relationship with Danny Mozes. Nixon and Marinoni, an activist, started dating shortly after her split from Mozes.

The fact is this female is establishing a marriage based on a sexual fetish.
The children in their shere are being denied a father as a choice.
It is biologically impossible for a child to have more than one mother and no father. (see surrogate mothers who are genetically unrelated to the mother and father)
The mere existence of this law in NY establishes the need for a constitutional amendment outlawing both fetish based marriages and civil unions in the same way as NC.
