Are you kidding? NBC "news" has been publicly faking news for DECADES! If NBC reports that the sky is blue, I would have to confirm it myself, because of their long history faking stories (one of the best known being the "exploding pickup trucks" series of made up stories.)

Trump is a self serving glory hound but he is most of all a Capitalist. I believe he is also a patriot who loves his nation. The very fact Spinmeisters want Romney to ditch Trump is proof enough that they fear what Donald can do. They fear he will give new legs to the Birther Movement and push it back onto the front of the campaign. This is the one issue the DNC can not cover up—if its get out (and it will at some point) It can destroy Obama like a bucket of water to the wicked witch.
