The job of the White House Press Secretary is simple: to answer questions from the press* without actually answering them. To form aloud words that are assembled into sentences and then stacked up into paragraphs, giving the appearance of communication, but without communicating. When this job is done well, some listeners might even believe that a few real answers have been given.**
And then theres Jay Carney.
Here he is, presumably having just given the boilerplate non-answer on Solyndra its really no big deal because hey, come on, there are winners and there are losers and thats just the way it goes being asked to explain the difference between that and Bain Capital.

... I'd while away the hours.. Conferrin' with the flowers if I only had a Bain.... er brain.
The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
I met Carney in Nashua,New Hampshire in early 2000 at a campaign appearance W made at a bowling alley.Lots and lots of press was there at that event.I recognized him from having seen him on various talking heads shows; we talked for about 5 minutes. What an absolute putz!
He is Stuck on Stupid.
Effing Barack Hussein is nothing but a spokesperson for the leftists who pull his strings.
What does he need a press secretary for?
The job of a Democrat’s press secretary is to LIE, pure and simple, esp. at the presidential level. Carney makes Robert Gibbs seem absolutly brilliant, and we all know that Gibbs was dumb as dogshit.
However, Carney, like a Carnival carney, lies like an amateur but with the same conviction as an indoctrinated zombie. He’s not even entertaining. If you wanted a press secretary with some showmanship, it was the late Tony Snow.
He knew how to deflect dumbassed questions, and how to answer legitimate ones, but with a gentleness and professionalism that has been badly lacking in the position for a long time (Dana Perino was pretty good, and pretty to boot).
The Clintons’ Joe Lockhart was a veteran leftist and sounded like it, just lying, distorting, inventing, covering up. Gibbs, he wasn’t that smart and way out of his league.
But Carney, he is one of a kind. He would have been a great spokesman for Hitler in the early 1930’s, promoting the “1000 Year Reich”.
Yet in 2012, he is just a little leftist, lying worm without much intelligence, but he has a good con-artist personna.
In fact, Carney is the Al Sharpton of the White House. Wanna buy a Tawana Brawley hoax, America? Listen to me. I know what I’m making up, and you’re expected to swallow it whole like the suckers that you are.
And remember, you can win a chance to have a dinner with Obie and Michele for a $3.00 donation.
That’s Jay Carney - the lightweight White House “Spokesfraud”.
i.e., Throw money at a favored company, and if it doesn't work out, then it's also government's job to throw some "retraining" money around as well.

This is drugs. This is your brain on drugs:
“Carney: Look, there, there, there is the the difference in that your overall view of what your responsibilities are as president, and what your view of the economic future is. And, and the president believes, as hes made clear, that a presidents responsibility is not just to, uh those who win, but those who, for an example, in a company where there have been layoffs or a company that has gone bankrupt, that, you know, we have to make sure that those folks have the means to find other employment, that they have the ability to train for other kinds of work, and thats part of the overall responsibility the president has.”
Any questions ?
