Democrat personality David Paterson, former governor of New York and now a talk-radio host on WOR in New York City, has suggested Barack Obama could be ineligible for the Oval Office and “got away” with it.
And Paterson linked Obama’s actions to treason.
On his show yesterday, he was asserting, along with NBC Chief White House Correspondent Chuck Todd, that GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney should have distanced himself more from developer Donald Trump and his doubts about Obama’s eligibility.
“Even if he wasn’t born in the United States at this point,” Paterson said. “It’s kind of like he got away with it.”
Before the comments, Paterson and Todd had agreed that Romney was doing his campaign no benefit by not distancing himself from Trump, who just this week blasted CNN for not reporting on the issue more accurately.
The billionaire businessman told lead political anchor Wolf Blitzer the network would improve its dismal viewer ratings if it would only report the issue of Obama’s eligibility to be president “accurately.”
“Obama does not like the issue of where he was born,” he told Blitzer in the interview. “There’s something that bothers Obama very much. I will tell you: It’s not an issue that he likes talking about, so what he does is use reverse psychology on people like you. … He does not like that issue because it’s hitting very close to home. You know it, and he knows it – but you don’t report it accurately.”

Given that Obama's first term is nearly over, yes, I'd have to agree that Paterson's statement is somewhat accurate.

Actually, IMHO, the legislation signed by the Obama would not stand, because the US Constitution says that every bill must be presented to the president before it can ever become law. If Obama is ineligible for the presidency, then he was never legally president, so if Congress presented legislation to Obama, it would not satisfy the US Constitution's requirement in Article I Sec. 7 that all legislation be presented to the president before it becomes law. Thus any unsigned legislation that would be sent to Obama would not automatically become law without his Obama's signature, because the legislation was never presented to the president as required by the US Constitution.
Unsigned/unvetoed legislation only becomes law without the president's signature, if ten days (excluding Sundays) elapse after it was presented to the president. If Obama is ineligible for the presidency, unsigned legislation would not automatically become law, because it was never presented to the president as required by the Constitution.
US Constitution Article I. Sec.7
shall, before it become a Law, be presented to the President of the United States;...If any Bill shall not be returned by the President within ten Days (Sundays excepted) after it shall have been presented to him, the Same shall be a Law, in like Manner as if he had signed it, unless the Congress by their Adjournment prevent its Return, in which Case it shall not be a Law.
What I hear starting is the trope that Romney isn’t distancing himself from Trump’s birthed claims. Romney is most definitely distancing himself and the MSM wants the sheeple to believe otherwise.

However, if he was born in Kenya and illegally usurped the presidency he should be tried for treason along with everyone else in the Democratic party who certified his eligibility. This would precipitate the biggest constitutional crisis since the Civil War. Sadly I don't think the truth will be known until Obama is long gone from the political scene or when he is deposed from his Marxist dictatorship should we be dumb enough to re-elect him.

You have a point. I had not considered the “present to the President” part. If he is not eligible to hold the office, then he is not President and the legislation was not presented. Even a bigger problem. Small wonder that every Marxist and RINO want to stay away from the NBC question.

I did not know that. It got a lot of press coverage didn’t it? He must not have made much fanfare of the release.
