I had to learn some things the hard way when I was young. Some of her struggles I could relate to (not the second marriage though).
I shouldn't gossip about this mess but she seemed so trapped. Depression with a considerate and faithful mate is highly treatable. But prescription drugs don't mix with booze.
The article said she chose to hang herself because if she overdosed, the Kennedys would cover it up. I think she had a lot of anger which caused her depression to deepen. I don't know if it's true or celebrity gossip but if only she hadn't been beguiled by the Kennedys. Maybe that was part of her relationship with Kerry.
Who knows how he feels? It sure left a trainwreck of grief on the part of others in its wake. I wish she hadn't done it and found some way to weather the storm. Her kids were close to being grown, and the time passes quickly. Her family would have helped her I think.
I think she couldn't face her marriage was damaged beyond repair and survived on false hope because facing anything else was just too painful.
