Mike Bost, a Republican member of the Illinois general assembly from Murphysboro, unleashed an explosive tirade on the Democratic-led legislative body for repeatedly bringing pension reform bills to a vote before giving lawmakers a chance to read them.

You have got to see the video to get the full effect of this man's outrage at Democratic House Leader Michael Madigan! And you have to read the article to see that it was a multi-hundred page bill which was put to vote mere hours after it lest committee.
Another "We have to pass it to find out what's in it"-type end-run.
Sign this man up for GOP Man of the Year!
That's got to be one of the easiest things to do; all one has to do is a) have a pair and b) have sense of justice, even a small one.
(I'm vastly unimpressed with the GOP as-a-party; the lack of anger & action over murdergate [Fast & Furious] is intolerable.)

The best thing to happen to Cook County where Chicago resides and to Sangamon County (Springfield) where the thieves of both parties rob the taxpayers would be a pair of 7 MT “specials”.
