Sorry to let you down, but Willard’s religion is of little interest to me. I know the trolls & paid groupies tried for years to locate a single post of mine demonstrating that was my reason for opposing him and they couldn’t (of course, that didn’t stop them from lying and claiming they did). The fact that he is a renowned liar, fraudster and Socialist with a disastrous record in Massachusetts is of paramount importance. Even with short-term memory loss, I can remember with fondness and a little sadness when an issue like this could be discussed on FR calmly and rationally.

I’m not sure she’s right. The membership in public unions has dropped to one-third of what it was two years ago. It will only be outside forces that propel the vote here.
On the other hand, the real passion is with conservatives and tea party types. Yes, they will get up and vote.
I wish I could vote there... I’d get up at 3 AM and slug over hard ground.
If Ann thinks conservatives are not taking this election seriously, she doesn’t get the e-mails I get daily from groups supporting Walker.

These people turn every thread about anything into a diatribe against Romney ... a diatribe that they repeat endlessly with no new information or reason.
We managed to banish one of the worst ones off of the Sunday Morning Talk show thread when a majority of the participants asked him to leave.
We should do that on every thread that is basically about something else.
This is about the Wisconsin election and there is no reason to bring Romney into it.
If there is a Romney thread, then I suppose their comments should be tolerated, if not welcomed, but not on every thread.
It is heartwarming to me to see so many people on this thread using common sense and fighting back against the negative, gloom and doom, naysayers who delight in corrupting every thread.
This takes a little courage... not much because they can only touch us with words and their words are not particularly intelligent or cutting.
I’ve been insulted many times but it’s not stopping me.
I’ve had vulgar private messages but who cares?
This is very important to me that we return reason and free dialogue and expression to our great forum.
If not, it will die.
