A majority of voters in each state feel optimistic about the state of the economy, and say the worst of the storm is in the rearview mirror...

Interesting, especially considering the sampling of NBC/Marist polls has been heavily weighted to dems.

Those Nevadans are gluttons for punishment. I guess because of all the California refugees.

Yep. Californians and illegals from south of the "border."

Modern polls are nothing more then tools to force conformity to an agenda set by others.

In Clark County, 75% of Nevada lives.

A large youth demo.

Construction died and there is little other industry to replace it.

Until the private sector establishes more employment here, there's not much of a future.

I don't know what else would grow. Just about every entertainment option has been tried, from shooting machine guns to brothels (outside Clark County).

However, they love Harry Reid who makes sure government money is spent. Every time I turn around there's a new ramp off the freeway, new pavement going in.

Unfortunately having watched Colorado politics as a citizen here since We passed Amendment #2 I am convinced that the majority of our State Govt.are far too Progressive and Queer to represent me. When the Californians came here —and those
from places like Mass.Or New York -or wherever I wish they would have left their Progressive plans behind.Mesa County may— or may not vote smart. But the rest of the State really worries me.

Any poll that shows Milt losing in Nevada is horse s**t. Nevada is almost as Mormon as Utah.

If I am not mistaken, Nevada has the highest unemployment and forclosure rates in the country. I can't believe they believe the worst is in the rearview mirror.

The obama error is nearly over.
That alone is something to be optimistic about

“obama will be lucky if he carries CA and NY”

Wat you be smokin’, my friend?

Did you not look at the source article above, which also had the current poll for New York state?
Did you not notice that in NY, the current tally is Obama 53%, Romney 31% ?
That’s 25, count ‘em, twenty five percentage points ahead. Obama is going to win New York state with about 60% of the votes cast there.

It’s premature to predict who is going to win this election today. I hope Romney wins, but I sense that even if he does, it will not be by any large margin of electoral votes. It may come close to being a tie.

But regardless, there’s going to be an irrefutable revelation in the results. It will illustrate how deeply divided America has become, and that the divisions are widening, with no reconciliation in sight. It will shock many conservatives (and American-Euros) that as atrocious a president and individual that Obama is, he’ll still earn the support of at least 45-47% of all American voters, and garner the support of unquestionable majorities in “the blue states”.

There’s now a “base vote” amongst the “new entitlement Americans” that may never drop below the mid-40’s percentile. There is no way to reason with this cohort, by which to “coax them to the conservative side” of thought. Even if Obama has a physical fit in the debates (assuming he will agree to them), it’s not going to change the mindset of the new entitlees.

I sure hope to be proven wrong in November.
But that’s the way I see it, and that’s the way I’m callin’ it...

Please, someone's got to have the picture/cartoon of a guy looking in the rear-view mirror, smiling, as he's driving straight into something much worse.

I'd like to see that myself. What was he leaving a rain shower behind and ahead of him a tornado? LOL

Whenever I see posts like this, I think, California or Massachusetts or New York must similarly become less liberal. Yet that never seems to be the case.

Nevada has a very high Mormon population......

But- I don’t think the Mormons outnumber the illegals that suck up to Harry Reid.

The northern part of the state is far more conservative than the VERY Liberal southern part of Nevada.

They are 7.5% of the population in Nevada. Did you even try to find some evidence for your statement?

That is because the folks saying it are full of crap. They see one neighbor and think millions of Californians and New Yorkers moved in....just not the case.
