SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Illegal immigrants will no longer have to fear losing their vehicles during routine traffic stops if a bill passed by the Assembly becomes law.

AB1993 would allow people caught driving without a license to call a licensed driver to retrieve their vehicle.Supporters never complain about police being pulled away from their duties to enforce the law, instead they soon will have to stand around while an illegal makes his phone a friend to come drive his heap home. The next day the same illegal will be in the same car driving on the same roads and chances are slim to none he will be pulled over, if pulled over, phone a friend. Change will not happen until illegals are caught and released and on another day on the same roads in the same car, be out there driving drunk or high and kills someone, in a hit and run accident, only then could this bill might go away . But I want hold my breath.Illegals have more rights than Americans.

Will they at least check if the drivers have insurance?

Unlicensed drivers usually don’t provide their real address. So, the officer writes a ticket for unlicensed operation, the driver tears it up, and there’s no way to find him. Essentially, this is a get out of jail free card for illegal aliens. The bill allows the police to obtain the identity of the individual who comes to get the car, but he’ll just say the driver moved if an attempt is made to find the driver when he doesn’t show up in court.
This is the second similar bill, the Democrats also passed one that applies to checkpoints a few months ago. From the numbers, it was probably a straight party line vote, and until an equivalent of MADD, composed of the families of those killed and injured by unlicensed illegals, actually gets strong enough to throw some Democrats out of office, this stuff will continue. They’re buying Latino votes with the lives and welfare of all the other citizens, and they don’t give a damn.

Apparently they have heard the call to give CA back to Mexico.

Change will not happen until illegals are caught and released and on another day on the same roads in the same car, be out there driving drunk or high and kills someone, in a hit and run accident...It would take more than simply killing someone, it would take killing someone VERY important, an like a high profile politician, an a-list movie star, or a mass killing such as a busload of kids. But even that might not be enough. The evil right-wingers who prevent the poor downtrodden "undocumented migrants" from getting drivers licenses will always be blamed.

I must say that’s a strange looking toilet.
What brand is it? A “Swirler?”
I notice that it also has a brown tint to it. Is it from Mexico?

If it’s like here most of the cars they impound should be taken off the road as unfit to be driven anyway.
