While a gay wedding in Archie Comics earlier this year and impending same-sex nuptials in a Marvel X-Men comic have recieved a small amount of backlash from angry parents, Robinson said he's not worried about that because "that kind of negativity is stupid and outmoded."

...so you are saying that G-d is 'stupid and outmoded'...is that what you are saying, Mr. Robinson? (Robinson lives in San Francisco, by the way...)

Couple of thoughts here. First, this is a marketing gimmick and after all the "we're going to have a big announcement, a major character is gay!", having it turn out to be golden age Green Lantern is a major cop out. Might as well make it Red Tornado. After the fanfare, nobody will notice since he's a B-list character.

Second, such an arrogant creator. He's not worried about the customer reaction because anyone who doesn't like his stuff is stupid? I hope this twerp gets a lesson on why making customers unhappy matters. When he's living in a cardboard box and trying to sell his sketches of "gay spiderman" and "gay flash" at the bus depot, maybe he'll get the point.
