If I remember my comic book history correctly, DC comic’ first comic magazine was titled “Action Comics.” And that was where Superman originated.

Not quite. The DC stands for "Detective Comics", which had been around for several years before Action Comics. (Batman first appeared in Detective Comics #27, a year after Action #1. The company had earlier been named National Periodicals.

"More Fun" comics predates both, and I believe that "More Fun" was renamed "Adventure Comics" early on. "Adventure Comics" was discontinued only a few years ago. It had a rotisserie of characters that did not quite warrant their own title at the time, including Superboy and Supergirl.
